Our ancestors looked up into the heavens, saw comets and asked, “What does this mean?” The same with weather patterns, crop failures, upheavals - virtually anything they encountered and did not understand. They created stories to make sense of things, to remember the meanings. They shared those stories with other humans to connect, to bear witness to the lives they were living.
