Carrie has spent over 25 years on her spiritual journey, as a channeler of an entity called Quado, as a shaman working with power animals for spiritual healing and guidance; and as a teacher of meditation and mindfulness. She is also the author of six books and a singer/songwriter with two albums of original material. But Carrie was not always spiritual. In fact, shortly before she began her journey, she was working as a corporate Vice President and CIO (Chief Information Officer) and considering joining an international society of atheists. It wasn’t until she was 50 that the time was right and the path opened before her. When her deeply-loved husband of 46 years died suddenly, Carrie found that she needed to pause her work in healing others and focus on healing herself and then on creating a new life, one with love and joy at its center, even though she was now on her own. She meditated for hours a day. She again used the tools and techniques she had learned and taught in all those years. She sought answers to the big questions about destiny and about the help and guidance that is there for us. And now, Carrie has written a new book, Sojourner in Ataquay: Mind-Expanding Ideas and Practical Tools for the Open-Minded Seeker of a Meaningful Life. In this book, she explains the answers that came to her and the very best of the tools and techniques that helped her rebound and create a beautiful life, something she wants very much to share with you.
