#61: Ergonomics for the Dental Professional

from Dental Hygiene Student Podcast with The Happy Flosser RDH · host Billie Lunt RDH MSDH

One of the most important things you can do for yourself is to start off your clinical career learning proper ergonomics and patient/operator positioning. Having foundational skills of proper operator and patient positioning ensures the clinician that they will be able to provide care in a way that meets the needs of the patient and the clinician. There are circumstances that create challenges for ideal patient/operator positioning. These circumstances will happen which makes it even more important to follow good ergonomics whenever possible.
