Tom Davidoff is the Director for the University of British Columbia (UBC) Centre for Urban Economics and Real Estates at the Sauder School of Business. He obtained his BA in Social Studies from Harvard College, his MPA/URP from Princeton University, and his PhD in Economics and Urban Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is largely credited as the architect of British Columbia’s Speculation and Vacancy Tax.
