#616 Danny Fitzwilliam Army Veteran; 11 Mar 2026

from The Lost Art Project: Veterans’ Voices · host Andrew Cox

Army Veteran Danny Fitzwilliam joined the Army with a clear goal in mind — to follow in his uncle’s footsteps and become a Military Policeman. After completing boot camp and advancing through Military Police training, Danny achieved exactly what he set out to do. He served proudly as an MP, carrying out his duties with professionalism and commitment. Unfortunately, injuries sustained during his time in uniform cut his military career short. But service was part of who he was — and he wasn’t finished serving. After transitioning out of the Army, Danny put his experience to work in civilian law enforcement, building a remarkable 28-year career as a police officer before retiring. From military service to nearly three decades in law enforcement, Danny dedicated his life to protecting and serving his community.
