#62 - Building Close Relationship with Your Clients as a Buyers Agents - Belinda Walters

from BAI Show · host Ben Handler

Belinda Walters comes from a family of property investors and renovators. But her own career in property only started after moving to Brisbane with her husband – leaving her career in event management behind, Belinda started flipping properties out of boredom. Soon people were coming to Belinda for advice on buying properties. This led to Belinda starting Location One with Kylie Timms. Location One is a boutique buyer’s agency mostly dealing with the high-end inner north area of Brisbane. About 85% of their purchases are off-market and confidential. As Belinda tells Buyer’s Agent Institute founder Ben Handler, specialising in a niche has helped Location One build a positive reputation and strong relationships with the real estate agents who operate in that niche. In the past five years, they’ve acquired most of their clients through referrals – previously it was through Google Ads. Now, they receive so many referrals that clients are sometimes forced to join a waiting list. Because Location One are specialists, they refer clients from outside that niche to other buyer's agents Belinda says she and Kylie work well together, their individual strengths are complementary. Belinda loves her job because she’s passionate about helping people find great properties. Buyer’s Agent Institute can give you the advice you need to become your own boss and build a successful buyer’s agency business. Go to www.buyersagentinstitute.com.au/enquire to start the journey.
