Die moderne Technik führt dazu, dass unser Handeln massive Folgen für die Menschen Jahrhunderte in der Zukunft haben kann. Beispiele dafür sind die Klimakrise oder auch die Risiken der Atomkraft. Hans Jonas war überzeugt, dass die traditionelle Ethik mit diesem Problem überfordert ist – damit meint er insbesondere Immanuel Kant und den kategorischen Imperativ. In der heutigen Episode zeige ich, worin für Jonas das ethische Problem besteht und wie er es lösen will. Zuletzt ordne ich auch seine Position kritisch ein.
