#62 - Jan Prij, econoom, filosoof en schrijver (S01)

‘Mijn handicap maakt mij tot wie ik ben’ In Onderweg praat Elsbeth Gruteke deze week met Jan Prij. Hij is filosoof, econoom en werkzaam voor het Wetenschappelijk Bureau voor het CDA. Hij schreef het boek God en Geld, over een combinatie die door de bank genomen niet als logisch wordt ervaren. Veel christenen zeggen: Het gaat om schatten in de hemel en niet op aarde. Maar hoe kan het dan wel samen gaan? Daarover gaat het boek dat Prij schreef. Hij werd 10 weken te vroeg geboren en is daardoor licht spastisch. Maar dat is geen belemmering voor zijn leven, hij ziet er zelfs voordeel in; dankzij zijn driewieler kan hij makkelijk een kratje bier vervoeren. In het gesprek gaat het verder over zijn leven, werken voor een wetenschappelijk bureau voor een politieke partij, christendemocratie en waarom Jan lekenpreker is, maar geen theologie wilde studeren.
