62.) "Just Say Hee-Haw Bro!"

from Ineffably Sublime | A Weekly Dose of Weird: History, News, and Curiosity · host Hosted By: Deej Penhollow and Mitch Bloom | Produced By: Amanda Kanouff

Up first today is Deej's catastrophy that prompts a discussion about misplacing your shit and what assholes our children can be. Kites are lame, and so is National Kite Day. At least according to Mitch. Mostly because he just can't seem to get it up. What's not so lame? The Feast of the Ass, which apparently is now Mitch's new favorite holiday. In this week's news - a vegan and gluten free bakery allegedly passed off Dunkin Donuts as their product. How effed up is that?! Thankfully our local (DuBois) Dunkin' friend Jordan has Deej's back in terms of his allergies. Thanks Jordan for being an awesome human being! This week's discussion centers around food-related sayings and why we use them. We think it's safe to say that origins of food idioms are generally really dumb. Let us know what your favorite (or least favorite) food-related idioms are by sending us an email at [email protected], leaving us a voicemail at 814-299-5155 or joining the conversation on Facebook @ineffablysublimepod. Also now you can find us on Reddit at r/KNOBS! Please leave us a review on the platform where you listen to our show! It really helps get us presence on "must listen" lists and helps us know where we can improve!
