from The Penis Project Podcast: Breaking Taboos in Men’s Sexual Health · host Melissa Hadley Barrett and Dr Jo Milios
For today's episode, we talk with Pelvic Pain Pierre. Pierre's story starts when he was 18 years old and he noticed a decrease in his urine flow. Two years later he developed groin pain. This was the beginning of Pierre taking tons of different medications as health professionals struggled to find a diagnosis. The pain became more consistent and affected Pierre's life...he noticed the pain would change depending on his emotional state and with activity. Thanks to big flat screen TV's, Pierre was still able to enjoy movies - at home! Because sitting for a long time in a cinema would be uncomfortable and can cause flare ups for Pierre. Pierre is now 32 years old, married, and still experiences pain. But he's living his life and is NOW getting the help he needs, and can sit longer!
