Some of the common fears that I have encountered when it comes to unschooling, are that ‘kids won’t learn what they need to learn’ and that there are things that kids need to be forced to learn for their benefit. I use rational choice theory to dispel these misconceptions. Also I clarified some misunderstandings considering my stance toward high education and why spending time preparing for plan B instead of focusing on plan A is a waste of that time. Obsessing with creating options for yourself may actually hinder you and block your opportunities.
