62 – Revive Yourself – Dave Murphy On The Healing Power Of Urine Therapy

from Revive Yourself Podcast With Ryan Martin · host Revive Yourself Podcast With Ryan Martin

“The closed mind is a disease. You need to have an open mind; otherwise life will just pass you by.” - Danny Wallace Today’s guest is Dave Murphy of http://www.allegedlydave.com/ and author of The Human Body Owners Workshop Manual and we will be talking all about Urine therapy. If you don’t know much about urine therapy it has many names such as urotherapy, urinotherapy, uropathy or auto-urine therapy. Essentially urine therapy involves the simple act of drinking one’s own wee, which has been called “man’s perfect medicine”. Or to quote Dave’s website, “Urine Therapy is an age-old practice of drinking and washing in one's own urine and applying it to the body in several other ways. Urine is essentially, all the beneficial, life-giving substances that are carried along with the bloodstream.” I can hear you now, “Ryan’s finally lost it” or “ How can it be medicine if it’s our body’s waste?” Well that question, and, a whole lot more will be answered in this episode. Now I just want to stress that I am not recommending this, and you don’t have to practice this yourself, - although we all have in the womb, and basically every conventional face cream on the market has urine in it in some form - however, just knowing how tremendous a remedy it can be for people is great knowledge to possess. It may also be an option you wish to explore down the road should you get ill, and, if you wanted to avoid pharmaceutical drugs or other invasive therapies practiced by conventional medicine. The truth of the matter is, that the majority of people I have talked to that have tried it have never stopped because of the tremendous health benefits they felt. Dave even did a 30-day urine therapy fast once, where his results were astounding. I’m not wired like that, unfortunately. I am starting to play around with taking a little bit of my own urine in the morning, however, that is diluted with water and Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. That may even be too much for some people, as I know Urine therapy is not for everybody. The idea of drinking your own pee isn’t appealing and I understand that completely. Anyway on to the episode where we discuss: How Dave first go into Urine Therapy How his friends and family first reacted when he told them The diseases and illness that Urine can heal. (The list is extensive.) When the best time to consume urine is How much Dave recommends to drink a day The effect Urine has on allergies How urine can help heal the skin The benefits he found whilst completing his urine fast & much more Dave is a truly fascinating guy, and he has lots more knowledge to share so we will definitely be getting him back on the show. In fact, he just held the UK’s first flat earth convention where he faced off against 3 astrophysicists, so that’s definitely something I’d be keen to explore for you guys.
