Pete only runs it just general questions and just becomes afraid for all We're talking about cars, but we can't talk about any of it And if how's involved we end up talking about the footballers or naked women with pens Good good good. Yeah, oh no, and if there's any you want us to edit out let us know we want it If I'm looking left and right I'm free people isn't on that's allowed now I'm giving them legal advice. It's all right. It's okay.
Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening listening to the all talk car podcast We're back in the same room after two months. We haven't seen each other.
G'day. Welcome Ross. Oh, yeah, yeah, mate. All right Greetings Still think the podcast is a podcast We have a guy YouTube or That was on you we've got a special guest through zoom generalistic through on here Now Welcome to the program.
Hey, yeah, thank you very much for having me Through the magic and zoom That one it's not easy my 10 year old is great she takes care of herself But my six-year-old who's in year one needs a lot of attention So I feel like I'm going through you one again, you know 36 years after the first challenging seconds on round it is challenging I do things differently, you know things like adding and like like group things in My daughter's in you one she's six. I got my 10 year old son and my old son who's in you seven Wednesday morning was my turn Look asked to my wife on Tuesday. She's really how hard can I think we could play for that? Is it I was stuck at home on Wednesday morning?
I lost my daughter for about an hour I left it for two minutes to start the day and I just thought I could leave yeah the breakfast She had a drink literally my wife goes I'm still hot about it. She hasn't been in the classroom for an hour. Just watching TV When schools aren't supposed to be yeah, it's apparently I've got a wife also he's in he started kidney. I've got a four-year-old who's like preschool attention They're not programmed yet like a nine or ten or eleven or whatever But then not because when they're at home for a kidney key he's little things I don't just think it's okay, so and then last week the preschool put his Kid going by that in hospital.
We're cracking my head with a guitar. What? Yeah, so so basically he got done expelled from homes all So he's probably repacked and he's like a preschool now My girls are in high school and not to us but they're in Sun Hill today. There's an uncle there.
I'm being homeschooled so Well on the Rick and the internet. Yeah in the private school fees. There you go. I spend it on a bit of it.
That's it That's all right. So Alex I had to scratch off my um notepad So I was gonna put down that you're a murdering journalist for a Do I have to scratch that off the job seeker or job keeper? Yeah I feel like Who's this guy who's here from men's health magazine magazines that owns men's health has been sold to Bower and There are a number of redundancies that happen to result of that unfortunately The good thing is that men's health is still can't be honest and contribute up but my regular job there I'm a video producer We could really use that we do we'll just go dealerships and say hey we want to drive all your cars So talk to me about some of the reviews you've done a lot of things on them I like them because they're very real you know you talk about you know do my children fit in the back of this car and how fast Can I go and all that's a bit too fast? I think I was watching my you almost had an accident in George Street, but also you was in the rain you were driving Genesis I think Another car behind me filming me as I was driving me as well as a camera guy in the car So you know when you're in the pump that way you really can't break any more I did I am I did another review for a Mazzaraki a ghibli last year and I said I was standing up the video I was really happy with that.
We'll do the first video I didn't mean to help and the editor magazine Beautiful shot going up the mountain towards the old Telstra tower up there. Yeah Because you cross over the other lines there for a moment. Oh really? Really?
Yeah Think about things like that when you're actually watching because I mean we're so we're so used to watching top gear with those three They're three things banging things around corners and driving down stairwells I You're driving your concentrating you're down a bus like you're talking at the same time Is that do you just plan things or you just do with what's happening in front of you? I was steering's great or the seats are good or that? Generally I can try to do a little bit of research in advance about what I'm gonna be driving just so that I have some idea of what to look out for what we're doing and normally before we recorded a video I'll have a good couple of hours before anyway. Yeah, yeah, I know the double lines and stuff.
Yeah, yeah, exactly Yeah, you know about our lines up the curve Yeah, yeah, that's good That particular one the Genesis I was actually for the launch of the showroom in history more in the city and I didn't know I was gonna drive in the car that day. I know I would know I hadn't prepared anything So literally oh yeah, you're gonna throw you on a car with a camera crew and just drive and just do whatever you want I'm like, okay, and when you're on the spot like that you don't really have much of a time to inform opinion So yeah, you are kind of kick. It's a wet day So you're kind of keeping one eye on what you're doing in terms driving it But it can be hard to form a good opinion on what cars like when you're trying to think of that plus keeping the car on the road and not having Accident and myself How is it Genesis? I mean, I look at the prices what 78 grand.
I'm looking at me. Yeah, we're not gonna have three series You know would you buy three series or I would you buy a Genesis out? Actually, I was quite surprised. I'm you know, I've never Huge driver of Korean cars, but this one really surprised me.
It was fantastic to drive and it felt great on the inside and it was just It really did feel like it was a free series competitor So, you know, it's somewhat more competitively priced than the three series I believe but something had you banked you back with it It goes up against what's that? Not Lexus because of the player. What's the who also doing Genesis and then? Yeah, yeah, the singers of all of this thing.
That's a phenomenal. I've driven that up. I've driven a single I haven't been the Genesis G. Savvy that I was driving the key stinger actually apparently quite substantially the same car Yeah, I drive a sting.
I think the VC's to go when it came out. Yeah plenty of things But you just the shazzy can't control the power. It's just but it's a great car. Great for the money Beloved that What's a Genesis?
Yeah, so I can buy a couple year old car and you're paying car for 70-80 grand, but that's used Hey She will do the free she will do she'll be the cars got a few colors on me now How is a few guys is no it is every time I get into a used car. I think of myself did someone else part in this thing? No, someone else do something in the backseat. What is it?
Very tight as well. You cars very tight as well. Sometimes tight snowboard you know I want a seven Sorry That was basically one hundred three grand car. Yeah, we're going for 72 and it was two years ago I'm just saying We're supposed to be And basically I want to be a coach Yeah, we're going to go for three guys Sorry, I can't risk that You're saying original one of us.
You've heard of first how about a Genesis? You can throw it all out of you I don't know what I used. It's my eyeball Oh, right. Or an M3 or an M4 like that?
Alex, when you are... Alex, when you come home with all these different cars, do you know what I'm saying? It's in a lot of kids because... Let me go to his melon.
I just got pranking bad with your leg. They're on the beat. Especially with that scallop, it's the background. That whiteboard person is not working.
I thought he'd be a big old cancel. Who's got a U-E? My normal car is the Pontiac Aztec. He's a really good caratarian in there.
I had a... I had a Masarati GTS, a Lvante GTS. I need to talk to you about the GTS Lvante because I went to this driver. Okay, well, as you know, that makes it a very loud noise.
What a car! Yeah, it's unbelievable. And when you turn it on and you flick it straight into sport mode, the... It's a bit cold.
The exhaust open up and the noise is just incredible. And all of my neighbours knew exactly what I was doing when I was doing it. So a lot of them came out and said, man, what's going on? Why got this car?
Because I was feeling a bit of a fairly modest sort of old up and feeling with... I said, that's what everyone knows, what everyone else has got. And suddenly it happens in Masarati. So you're the drug dealer's doing really well?
I went and tested over that car. The first thing I noticed, the car was cold when they started and the exhaust was not on, but the valves weren't open. Oh, yeah. Man, this thing was so loud, it vibrated the whole showroom.
It was... I know what you mean. It was probably the loudest car on the start of the road. And the drive of it, but then the price would get it.
Yeah, I think... 400. 400? 360?
Yeah, the one I had started at 265, the cost of 300. But then there's the tripphayo, which I'm getting in a couple months under review. That is... that's a 20-page...
Plus or not? Yeah. Dealer delivery and commission. Yeah.
Appreciate it. You've got to get some 22-inch wheels on there and, you know, like the additional safety pack or whatever it is that they don't know. You're talking about language there, 22-inch wheels. Yeah.
But I'm like a calico. Like, I can't justify it. It just doesn't make sense. Look at that.
That's true. Yeah, I'm looking at... It's Eurus money, isn't it? That's the tripphayo.
I think I've got one of those in the country, apparently. Would you pay that money for that? Or is it Eurus, or Lamborghini a bit? The R.S.
Q 8's is going to be out next month or something. It's an out. It's an out. It's a now.
I'm not proving the Lamborghini so I can't say it. say on that one, right? But I mean, look, the Mesorade, you're certainly getting, and you know, I said, some more review, you're buying the X-Lucidity of it, you're buying the 3.8 liter Ferrari built V8, which is what makes the noise, and if that is worth it to you, then that's what you're gonna get. But I think it's- What motor is that, G?
Good question, Nish. Was that 3.8? I didn't even know that I bought it, that's all right. No, okay, you need to get up to speak out.
Yeah, I think it's out of the California, the V8? Yeah, yeah, that's the cross- I'd say it's a half-price Ferrari, because the Ferrari for a saying go will be anywhere. What you're gonna do with the Ferrari- Well, there's a Ferrari issue, they can- No, you're not the one, you're not pointing it at corners in the National Park, so you know. It's really one.
If you've been on school run with a- It's really important when you're on the school run to run about what you're driving. And if you've got the box and the person for you. I'm like, you know what, I'm like, you know what? My kids got me $700.
No, I'm gonna- Every one of my school fees are $700. I'm like $700 a day. Yeah, $100 a day. Yeah, so I usually take my cheapest car to the school, right, to fitting.
You better stop that. When I write a bit of oldie van, they say, deliver it on the other side. I'm getting the kids off, but all the cars do 40k an hour. So you need the- You know, the track.
The school people know this, but at the school where my daughter goes to, there is a baby blue Bentley that rolls up. And there's a roundabout where everyone has to go. Have you said it? Yeah.
Anyway, so every day she'd go through a roof off, even if it's freaking snowing, all this time she'd go, you know, this lady would have the roof off, the sunglasses on, the baby blue Bentley. So everyone knew the Bentley was here. She'd give it a bit of a rip. She takes out the roundabout, literally the whole side of her car.
But when you take out the roundabout, it's bad enough that you damage your car to leave the bag and blue bumper behind. That's pretty shittl- It'll buffer out. So the bumper, she ripped the whole car up the side of the car off and left the bumper on the driveway. They stuck it in the middle of the ground.
It was there like a trophy. It was like a prize for a couple of days. What do you- Do you do a school- I don't think I have to go to Bentley. Alex, what do you take on your school run?
I'm a good firm. I've recently come in position for Rolls Royce, Kellen, SUV. I will take your Bentley and I will provide you- Shut up, you're running. I'm going to go to your house.
I'm going to go to the house. Because I've been the mayor of the Motorline, just do my school run. Do you see Rolls Royce in the boot of the car? If he's noticed that he's a driver, he's going to go to the front door.
If you're the one with the car, he's going to go, oh, OK. Would you like to donate to the Raffle Alex? Is there a gate at the school rapper? Four bricks.
Four bricks. I had a good look at the car but they wouldn't let me drive it, unfortunately. Oh, they haven't got it. They're all on the order, aren't they?
Ah, well, there was one in Brisbane because I went up to it at the vent up there and it was seriously impressive and huge and over the top. It's massive. One of the months it's all gone. It's so big.
It's so big. But I think with that, you can kind of see where the money is going more than you can with the Maserati Max. Because it's so ridiculously off-key-line and over the top. And you're choice of 44,000 exterior colors and how many thousand interior colors.
And the Rolls Royce's name and the carpets that you can sink down into. You kind of, you know what you're getting with that. The Maserati I thought of almost thought, I mean, I know it's a good price point. But the interior of it felt a little bit sort of special.
It was leather but it just felt a bit old school. You had to like what you see in an Audi or a BMW at the moment. I know a friend of mine's got the Levante and he said a lot of his parts come from Chrysler. All the switch gear is a bit of Chrysler.
They come out of dodges and dupes and stuff like that. Wow, it's kind of like driving a tachycat. Even the navigation, the actual program. Yeah, software is substantial in the same system that you get in there.
That's very similar. You know, you jump in the Bentayga and you've got the two rigs off-way. I mean, I drive the Bentayga and I've had the A2 rig. And I can tell you now.
They're almost identical. But back to the cold and I watched the documentary on the build of the back of the car. And the options just for the trunk are phenomenal. Like you can get stadium seating in the back.
It's just unbelievable. Like cutlery sets and stinks for your dog and champagne coolers and everything's bespoke. How are you? How are you?
What do you want? Including your own constellation on the roof. Yeah, your own color. When you say constellation, you mean like Star Wars?
Star Wars. The day you were born they can reprogram the story. No way. That's like a $25, $30,000 option.
Is it Alex? I think yes, I'm at least probably even more. Yeah. I was telling you because I was asking, I said surely most of the people who were buying these cars are fleet buyers or you know, a flight car.
Do you keep riding buyers? Yeah, you can get the color to match your hair, man. You can get the color to match your hair, man. They can paint the color of the color you want.
What were we using? It wasn't as a matter of the way. As to Martin, when you bought a car, they would say this as to Martin was built for Roscoe Ellis. I always thought that was really cool except when you wanted to sell it to someone else.
It was etched into the seal of the size of the car. Especially if you bought a company. What do you got there? Man, how's industry?
It becomes part of the history of the car. When you buy an AMG, which monkey built the engine? Yeah. Have you noticed over the years the names have changed a lot?
I have UVID-19 on the A45. That's what it looks like today. UVID-19 is like John Smith and it's like Muhammad Dore. All the backpackers with the AJ factory.
I don't know where it is right there. Alex, had you stumbled into this job in the murder comments? Looking like a drug dealer and writing anything you want? I was working at Medself magazine doing video production.
I was doing videos of people doing workouts and fashion. Really? Yeah. But the Medself website went on social pages on Facebook and stuff like that.
After a few months of being there, notice they weren't doing anything in the motoring space. That's a big session of the Medself audiences. I said, you know, you have to be happy to maybe put my fields out of your car, make it some stuff like that. I said, yeah, because none of us are interested in cars.
You're interested in it. Go for it. You're thinking, sweet, I'm going to be driving Lamborghinis every day. He's a Genesis.
My very first event, my boss was invited to an Audi track day in Adelaide. He said, well, I don't want to go. He said, well, I don't want to go. I'm like, yeah.
So next thing I'm going to go and I'm going to fly down Adelaide, then put up for the night down at the bend. And the next day we were driving every model of Audi pretty much with a full track day that they normally go on. Those track days are pretty cool. Well, they knew how to go three-year-old outies.
Three-year-old outies. You were three years old. You were three years old because how old? I don't know.
How old have you gone out? We've got 30,000 days in Audi, weren't you? What was it on that Audi track day? Did you get to drive the Audi?
I did. Yeah. And that was, I could generally say one of the more terrifying experiences of my life. Yeah.
Nice way to land changes and all that stuff you did. Yeah. We did emergency stopping. We did, like, yeah, we did the train stuff.
We did, like, spinning out. I'm trying to think of it. Dripping. Dripping.
Yeah. I'm on the class of the viewers. Yeah. We were drifting.
And I had to wait at all. And I spun off the track completely and took out the water and system. In an RS5, I think it was. The doorbody.
That's my fault from me. Yeah, exactly. Except, I was going to be making cars in the demo. Yeah.
Yeah. Because I tell you what to do on the radio. They're like, all right, yeah, all right. Yeah.
And I'm like, yeah. Pick up, pick up, pick up. And meanwhile, I'm crashing off the course of my new pre-clairs. And I'm just, came to a stop and they go, and...
And stuck. And where's your alternative drive to the analysis? So Alex now, I want some reports from Vince. Help, magazine.
It doesn't already give me strange looks. I got pretty embarrassed. Because I got surrounded by all these journalists, you know, like, Motomagazine and Wheels and these other, you know, really reputable websites, and I just got like, skiddie-poo. I was like, who buy people?
when we'd motor in wheels and a journalist, they would have fun with what they would go. They would give everyone else, they'd give all the guys a ticket, so we'd go pretending to be there. But some of those guys can really drop, that's like the whole life is driving. You know, they go to some many of these things throughout the year, you know, like every matter of fact or a book's smart.
And they will know each other and they will hang out together and these chug, like they really go. We really need to get off the mailing list. Alex will drop us out. You could be worse Alex, I could say, Alex, you're with Barbara from the Women's Weekly.
You guys are testing Barbara from Women's Weekly's. You can drop, we've got to get accountable for you guys to test drugs. No, you drop a couple of Eddies in Barbies are. I'm trying to get these off the radio.
I'm on the radio. So we've been healthy, they've done a vasectomy article with the Kia Carnival. You can be very good at Kia Carnival versus a Ferrari California. Pretty well posted.
I'll put that one forward. Pretty well posted. I'm just trying to help you get your job back, buddy. Just a different angle.
I was like, I was like, what tragically I was actually supposed to be going to Germany in about two weeks time. I was just going on holiday and I thought, I'm going to be there. I'm kind of as well asked for friends out here. I had a car and I said, yeah, show who you are.
You're an artist for a month or a week. I did a coronavirus. It's pricks. We've also got a factory tour for you.
And this other tour in another museum. Oh, yeah, no, no. What do you want? Yeah, for sure.
And of course, and then, yeah, as we know, two months ago, the whole world kind of plus. So I've had to put off a trip. Wow. Next year, next year, next year.
With a plus one. Three. No, I'll slide you back down. You want to go on and on?
I'm sure we can get a movie. We'll send you a house, Jazzy, number, and I'll give you a factory tour. Dang. Done.
Through the shops. Well, what happened? Oh, here we go. Well, I was driving carefully because there was no issues with the good comfortable from the like, well, I was.
Why does it even if we get together, you've been pulled over by our web browser? I was actually, actually for the first time. In the right. For the first time, I've seen lights flashing.
I was actually stunned because I knew I didn't have my hand on the phone because my son had it in the backseat watching Netflix, right? And I knew I hadn't done anything wrong. I'm sorry. I'm not even now happy to have a very regularly, so regularly that they've known my place.
Is the only guy I got pulled over the drags? Pretty much. I'm not pulled over. I'm not pulled over.
We can't come to it. We're going to get to that. So the officer says, he goes, pull over. The two reasons.
He's got to be a lassist for yesterday. He's your lassist back. So you said that first of all, this has been recorded. That's the wiper flag.
Yeah, let's be funny because he's got a sense of humor. You know, I can catch a 10. Have you had anything to drink? Well, I guess it's a rumbadarn.
You're in banks there. No one can talk about it. And you just said, you just said, you have to take. I should have taken a 10.
I'm going to do it. So the reason I stopped you is, so your car comes up as an A7, but it's an A7. What? Yeah, I said, I really wish it wasn't an R7, but it's not.
Can you show me the chassis number on the vehicle? Sorry, I'm happy to, but it's not. It's all the windscreen. We got it out.
No, no, no, no. I pulled the service book out. I said, there it is. He goes, thank you for that.
I got him. Do you want to say the one that matches on the car? He goes, oh, yeah. So I'm really baffled because this has never happened to me before.
Is there a problem? Why? And he goes, in this area, we get one of these. We get one of these.
We get one of these. Yeah, basically like that. I said, do we meet the undesirable people in this world neighborhood that would do such a thing? He started a lot.
He started a lot. Thanks. And the other guy's laughing. I was like, I'm shocked.
I'm going to have to get home and talk to my wife when I'm doing it. I can't. He started a lot. I don't buy the light.
Your Commodore has a headlight. No one. He goes, yeah, he goes, I've got a sparkle to the back. I got it.
So what's the story? I got your last one in. So you've got the hangovers all the time. He's got the cover.
He's got the cover. He's got the cover. He's got the cover. He's got the cover as a police.
I was like, you're not very good. He goes, no, he goes, no, he goes, no, he goes, no, no, no. He goes, they've got Mustangs coming. Which the news broke this week.
The 2020 Mustang with the 10 speed box. Have you been on the list though? No, it's on my list though. I'm a big fan.
He's got the Mustangs coming. They've made it proved. I've got the 10 speed box that all four problems fix. I said they've got you doing crown control.
No, no, no. The Mustang Crown Control. Yeah, we've got it. You've got it.
You've got it. You've got it. You've got it. You've got it.
You've got it. Oh, he's up there. He's made. He's made throughout.
I reckon he's made. I reckon he's made. I reckon he's made. I've got it.
I think this blokes the new Highway Patrol guy and the passenger probably said to him, you know that's an RAC, that's a prolly, right? This is like the Lieutenant's re-drive off the rails. But wait, wait, wait. So Alex, question, what was your first car?
I'm likely to remember in school, what was your first car? I think I know what you're talking about, Ross. Yeah. I was lucky to have a brand new Ford Telstra.
Oh! What was that about? We're talking about that for a second. That was a very cool car.
It was a straight up train for the mid-sizer. I've heard a few days at school. It must have been about a 1977, 1978 Mazda 121. Oh!
That was cool car. 1.5 feet block. Oh my god, it was a bomb. It was a V-Works car.
I've ever driven anywhere. And I'm a V-Vest-a-Fandy, I've had two of them. But back then, no, it was crack. I remember that.
I thought it was rolled up to school and everyone's like, mate, what's that? Mate, I felt like Uncle Buck in that scene. I thought that's an explosion. Everyone backs up.
The end back on the bus. We did have some fellow students who had some special interest in cars. We weren't as lucky as some of the other guys. Yeah, well, there was effort Nathan who had the old-Holden.
Yeah, the old-Holden? Yeah, it's Tony who had that for a few years after that and ended up getting away to a guy he worked with. Oh, really? Yeah.
That was a cool car. We had BMWs. Did anyone have a Porsche? No.
Thanks. We had one bike. There was someone who had access to a Porsche, but I think that's a different story. Yeah, that was the other thing.
I was already having access to a Range Rover and driving to five cars in double bay. I wasn't a car, but we'll talk about it at a different time. I'll tell you over there. We had one going, how are you?
I'm actually a blind. He's our parents going to brand-new Suzuki Sierra in the late 80s. Everyone used to race to school half an hour early to get the spot near the gate at the park. So this guy's dad got him a brand-new Suzuki Sierra and very clever because he would turn up to school three minutes before the bill and park in the best spot.
He went to the ladies house next door to the elderly lady, bought her a bunch of flowers and asked if he could park his car in her driveway. He would park for riding her driveway. So it looked like there was someone home for the elderly lady and he would park. Yeah, beautiful.
That was golf. That was golf. I did that, but I just don't have any flowers. It was like an elderly lady's car.
Straight from school, we didn't get into motoring after that. Alex, what's your background? What would you do? Sorry, I'm just eating chocolate.
Well, how did you provide you for us at that? No, we didn't. No, I was straight out of school straight to radio and I became a radio announcer and producer. I'm coming to a Dremen's day of M and then I got started up a community radio station called Wilder Fam, which I think Ross was a big fan of.
That was awesome. All that doof doof music because what it did was it gave you all that shit and you listened to it night-class in the car. It was awesome. I did it on Wilder Fam's car.
I didn't feel it was brilliant. It went into Wilder Fam's car. What happened with that? That community radio station started then stopped.
Yeah, what happened was we were trying to get a full-time license and we were one of a number of groups that were lobbying the government for a full-time license. It was only one available, so we had to go through this selection process and unfortunately we got knocked out of it. It was awesome. It's me.
FBI. FBI. We're still on in it now. It's a digital channel.
They're like a slightly more intense version of Triple J. So when did Wilder Fam start up? In 1996, as hit ZBAM and it changed Wilder 97 and we went on until about 2001. Did you have to go to OSOver School?
Sorry? You're listening to Wilder Fam? Did you have to go to voiceover school? No.
No. No. It was a really good training ground because out of that I ended up going to Nova and I was in Nova for about nine years or so and then ended up at 95.3 FM and it was probably original in 2016. Oh wow.
Where were you at for a stage? Not only are you behind the scenes. So what is it true when a big famous singer comes in studio? Is it like a big kerfuffle?
Like is there security everywhere? The people pull that camera phone? Is it crazy? Yeah, it depends on who it is.
That was certainly the case when Ariana Grande came into Kiss Mona 6. I actually had this enormous entourage and we had to basically clear out the whole office of her which got a lot of people's noses out of joint. Really? People working.
They don't really care if Ariana Grande is coming in on it. Makes sense to them. Something we're being told I know you can't go to your desk because Ariana Grande is near buying you can't take a photo. Not that anyone wanted to do that job.
So it was a little bit over the top. I remember once when I was at Nodod the Rock came in. Oh yeah. Has he?
He came a couple of times but his security had to check out the bathroom before he could go in there. Why? Just to make sure you're all clear. It's all clear in here.
The guys the size of a black truck. The guys the size of a block of units. What's he scared of? I'm making sure there was no parenting name.
The rocks are wrestling. I mean he grabs men for a living. That's the whole point of it. No, but when he goes home surely doesn't.
How do you know what he does at home? I mean I've never seen a pair of jeans but I'm sure he takes his wrestling drugs off. He doesn't have wrestling drugs. He really is.
Of course I'm talking about this. What else? He's in all the fast and the few rocks. Yeah, hell I did.
He's in isolation. I watched all the fast and the fewers. He was in the bar. I said to my boys, we're going to watch Fast and the fewers.
No, one number one all the way through the Hobbs and Shaw. My kid got through 15 minutes and the first episode is dead. The first one was horrendous. The first one was terrible.
I'm going to be going to the Premier and I thought I was a rock star. Oh, the Premier. Oh, the first one. Oh, you know the first one?
Oh, he was in the first one. The Toronto was in it. We had a ball walker and they all came out. They had a modified car and it was just this.
I did make a ball walker when he was happy for that. He was a really, really lovely guy. He really knew his cars too. Yeah, he still has a ball.
He's still a brain. He's still a performance brain. Oh, I don't know. He's still a performer.
No, no, the first one was pretty much the first Fulbright car movie kind of thing for that age. But the car guys that watched it, when you were watching it, you were like, come on guys. Your car wheels spin and get the front wheels off the car and smoke them all at the same time. So we're getting technical here.
Everyone was going to take you. It was alright. It was alright. It was alright.
No, no, but it was. It was pretty cool. Everyone can jump in. It was like superman.
You can't fly. Do you know what the last one they did, Hobbs and Shore one was so bad. Have you seen that Alex? No, I haven't.
The main villain transformed so if you get tipped by a truck, he just morphs into a motorbike. What? It's not really. It's terminated.
It's terminated. How many people in your family were left? You got to the last movie? No, I got 15 minutes into the first movie.
I don't know. I got to the last movie. You got to the last one by itself. Yeah.
So who was going to the run yesterday? Sorry. I can tell you who I did. I really liked it.
It's kind of car related. He was absolutely nuts, but he was a lovely guy. He hung out with everyone. He signed every autograph.
He took every photo. Is he tall? He's limited to all of me and I'm 190 centimetres. He's tall.
He's just a short film. He's just like a friend. He's a good guy. He's a good guy.
He's a good guy. He's a good guy. He's a good guy. He's a good guy.
What did you like? The new one. He came out for years ago. He was in the new one.
I don't know. That was good. With Zac Zack. They're from.
They're from. It's been a bad boy street. Come out. They're out on Apple.
Are they using a singer? You can pre-order it on. They're saying they're not using Apple. Yeah.
Alex, what's going to happen? You might know. What's going to happen all these movies that were supposed to be released in December? Yeah.
Well, I just heard today apparently like the James Bond film, the new one, No Time to Die. That was first come out in April. They pushed it back in November. They're talking about moving it back to 2021.
They still make money at the movies. Yeah. 100%. Yeah.
There's a war breaking up between the film distributors, who's going to have which slop? Because they've got all these movies backed up and everyone's keen to get them out and they're fighting updates. Do you think the cinema will change forever now? You don't have to see the meter and a half.
Maybe I came for me if I got the keys. You were a meter half that way. You were a meter and a half that way. Any more people are walking down the avenue in half.
I'm making the short term that can probably happen. I think you don't get to a point that I work on what's next back to all the people. How do you get to sit on a plane next to someone without having a mask? Well basically, you can't be able to enter into a criminal community.
You're very modern. You don't remember to stretch out. Think about the price that's going to cost a fortune. Well, especially if you lose Virgin.
Yeah. That's all. Right. So four engine forces already put his hand up to bar.
You're going to change the name of the slop? Yeah. Who are you flying with today? Slap.
I'm talking like one of those. It could be worse. Japanese company could buy it. What are they going to go over?
Bukakki Airways. Okay. Yeah. I'll talk about the Japanese route.
The Japanese route. I've got the price. I've got the price. It's from the virus.
Did you know that the Japanese rail and transport company has had an office at circular key. What have I? 30 years. 35 years.
35 years. They're going to get the fast rail contract. Yeah. We looked at it.
They're still there. They're getting chopped paper. 100% needed to just get it. I still think the swine flew is kept it back a bit.
But every three years or so, like clockwork, it starts up again. Oh, we're going to look into a fast rail. Let's get behind it and build it. It's like, yeah, sure.
Well, it started now with our Virgin's going to go over the low, the corners and jets up. We really need the high speed trays. Look at the high speed trays. Good idea.
What did we think of that? Yeah. And now, what Japanese car even since I've opened? I know.
I've got Virgin points. Yes, I can't use them. Virgin were quite cheeky because they said to everyone online. So I went to cash out some points that I had.
Just by two or three days before I thought, they might go into administration. Few people were talking so I say, no, may or may not go into administration. Well, you know, I'll cash out my points. I'll cash in that for Westfield vouchers.
I thought that's the safest I can get, right? A couple of hundred bucks at Westfield, cash out. We'll also make a deal. We'll use a lot of it easily.
I'll take a couple of toasters. Maybe a fire extinguisher. I'll be going in the middle from this. Anyway.
I'll cash my points out. And with the proper way to, you know, if the company does go into administration, you won't be losing. You won't be losing. You won't be losing.
You'll be going to preserve your points. So everyone was like, I'm going to cash in my points in Westfield vouchers. I'm going to keep my points. So they go to administration.
