62. The BASS Federation Junior World Championship w/ AZ Team Dougherty & Crawford

I traveled 14 hrs to see my Nephew Degan and his fishing partner Troy Jr fish in the TBF Junior World Championships at Sooners Lake outside Ponca City Oklahoma. I was able to sit down with Mr. Randy Sullivan who is the Senior National Tournament Director for the JWC from the Student Angler Federation for High School Students. I also couldn't skip the chance to interview my nephew Degan "Scooter" Dougherty and his team mate Troy Crawford Jr. So day one was a tough day, weight in zero fish really hurt the standings. Day two brought the spirits up with 4 fish weighing 8 lbs 4 oz. Unfortunately, this strong day two finish wasn't enough to qualify them for day 3. Degan and Troy missed their day three shot by a mere 14 oz. Hell of a fight boys. Have fun listening to a great organization get kids out from behind the iPad and out in nature. https://www.bassfederation.com/ https://www.phxjuniorbassmasters.com/
