#63- The attachment theory: How childhood affects life
from The Brocast · host The Brocast
A person's attachment style is permanently established before the age of three. The attachment theory argues that a strong emotional and physical bond to one primary caregiver in our first years of life is critical to our development. If bond is strong early on and we feel securely attached then we feel safe to explore the world. If bond is weak and feel insecurely attached then you are more likely to be afraid to leave or explore a rather scary looking world and often then we don't understand our feelings. We talk about this around the 50 min mark. The rest of the time we just have a good time so come chill with us! Hope you enjoy this extra long episode. Okay gotta go, bye love you!
