Real good real good real good real good real good real good real good real good real good real good real good real good real good real good real good launch Ladies and gentlemen, hello welcome to another edition of America's Best Worst Canadian sports podcast That's right real good show back with you once again, Justin more set with you as always and with me once again is Stefan Hack John Cullen, and Stefan we were without you last week. Yeah. You were in New York sitting. Is in New York a big New York and And that was great proof.

It was cool. Yeah, how was that trip? Oh, I missed two Canucks games, so it was great. That's positive.

I saw an Islanders game. That is just the worst. Who you sit in seats where you couldn't see the rink? We, OK, well, so when you're buying tickets, it tells you, like, there's an obstructed view.

And where we bought the tickets, it didn't say obstructed view specifically. But I think every seat in the upper bowl, the view is slightly obstructed. Because for whatever reason, so I think it was by the bowl itself. Yeah, because there's all these angles.

It's not like the Ashur comes and puts a bowl in front of your face. No, it just been the lip of the upper bowl. No, that's exactly. The way it's designed, you go to like Roger's Arena, or I assume most other arenas, it's like an oval.

It's shaped like a bowl. So it's like smooth all the way around, and nothing's like jutting out. But this one is just all angular and just like sharp. And I think it was designed specifically for concerts, which I can see.

I can understand that. And then they're like, OK, well, let's have basketball here as well. And then I can understand that too, because the basketball court is obviously smaller. But I would assume that the sightlines for basketball are not that much different than hockey.

Yes, the court is smaller, but not by much. No, no, no, but it is though. It is quite a bit smaller, isn't it? Well, because my understanding is that a place like the Staples Center that hosts both hockey and basketball sometimes in the same day, they put the court on top of the ice, essentially, and then have to take it out and the ice is underneath.

Well, when you look at the seating arrangement in Brooklyn, there's like no seats behind the islanders net. There's a car, and then there's no seats on the ground. And then there's six rows above the glass. And there's so much wasted space.

It's like the Spangler Cup. They've got that car at ice level. It's not a, it's what's the car that you just put out? No, no, no, it's Honda, unfortunately.

I wish it was a scoda. But it did feel like being at the Spangler Cup. But it wasn't meant to be for basketball, I don't think. And it definitely wasn't meant to be like a multi-sport thing.

They were like, OK, we'll have the nets here, but that's it. Let's draw the line of that. And then someone's like, oh, we have hockey there as well. And you can't see half the rink from where you're sitting.

And this wasn't even an obstructed one. It was just like the angles of it. And also the fans are, like, I was the best part of it. It wasn't the game.

It was the insane long islanders. Because there's two factions of islanders fans in the stands. There's the ones from Long Island. And the ones from Brooklyn.

And so there was this Brooklyn guy with a man bun who was just like so into it and just screaming and yelling. And there's a bunch of long islanders across the section who were just screaming out, I mean, sit the fuck down, man bun. And it was getting pretty out there, which is the point where one of the long islanders was just like the stereotypical, like, I'm walking here a guy, right? Yeah.

And it was just so loud and so obnoxious and just like so annoying to deal with. And someone behind him just got fed up and grabbed his hat and just threw into the lower bowl. And then he left. Because he didn't come back.

It was like, it was like, it was too mad. Yeah, it was near the end of the second. He wasn't even mad. I think he was just like, oh fuck, he literally slung off and just did not return because someone threw his hat into the lower bowl.

Well, it looks like the Barcl Center was designed with an eye for what it would look like from the exterior. Like it has a pretty nifty design as you're walking up. Yeah, it looks really cool from the outside. It's all modern and everything.

Probably not a lot of thought for what it would look like from the inside. No. It's just such a, and holy shit, the beer is expensive. Like it was like $13 for a Corona.

$13 for a single. It was a bit bigger. Like it wasn't a tall can, but it was like equivalent of a tall can. It took up, it was still $13.

It was like, you know, it's like $17 for a beer. Does he and I decried that? What are we in Europe? You're at $15 for a Budweiser on draft at Rogers Arena.

But those are also the double ones. Yeah. Guys. You know, there is a solution to this problem.

Guys, I know this, but I don't drink. And it makes the game a lot cheaper. If you were a Canucks fan and had to go to a bunch of Canucks games, you would drink. You're about your own fault.

You bought season tickets. No, I know. It's not season tickets in the worst two seasons in Canucks history. Well, that's because like it's the only time you're going to be able to buy them.

We're 64 episodes in now. And we're finally getting around to the fact that you don't drink. So I know. I've never been brought up in the show.

We never talked about it. But I also forgot to mention that it was episode 64 off the hops. Oh, yeah, that's good. That's smart.

OK. Yeah, of course. It's an intensive episode. You don't have to push a button to get the cartridge to eject, though.

That's definitely super Nintendo. No, no, no. You don't have to be more like pulling out and then blowing in. And you didn't have to pull out an 64 cartridge.

No, you still did, but I don't know if it was necessary. Well, it wasn't necessary. It didn't actually help apparently. Someone doesn't help in Nintendo games.

No, but it's one of those things where it's like, it feels like something. Yeah, it feels like it's doing something, you know? Like I don't want to disc sometimes. But hold it flat and chill.

Yeah, it's like, you're getting the dust off of it. Yeah. It's like, blowing on stuff is cool, you know? Like, you can blow on your hands to make them warmer.

And you can blow on soup to make it colder. Yeah. Like, how does it know? You know what I mean?

Yeah, New York is cool. I'm at the Biernerd. Yeah. What did you realize?

Yeah. Can we even, why did you even go? I go a cafe. Why do I either just work to see the office?

Oh, yeah, the office is like the third debate or anything. It was. Yeah, we were there for the third debate, which on Wednesday. And we were just like, so jet-legged and exhausted.

Like an hour's sleep at that point. Yeah. So you were as tranquilized as Donald Trump. Yeah, that debate was so, oh my god.

I'm so glad it was the last one. Yeah, you're happy to be free of this. Well, there's like 12 days left, I think. Yeah.

Yeah, I mean, he's not going away. But yeah, I guess. But I mean, are you still, do you have to cover the rallies every day, too? You know what they would call it?

Yeah. Like if there's a live rally, we generally have to watch it in case something crazy happens. Do you guys know what they would call it if they held the third debate in church? Math or debate?

Math or debate? Third debate? It's a really good joke. I'm going to edit that out of the box.

Keep it in. Keep it in. Very good joke. You want to say it?

Do you want to say it again? I did. I did it wrong. You get it out when I do it.

No, no, keep it in. Keep it all in. Yeah. Everyone deserves to hear that joke again.

If God was real, he would strike you down right now. Well, it's not that type of show. Yeah, you can find the Godless in the store. Of course.

Yeah, absolutely. If I had an iPod, or no, God had an iPod, I'd be on his playlist. It's from Sigh High the Prince from my beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy on the US. Of course.

What song was it? Maybe so appalled. It's a good one. Yeah.

My beautiful Dark Twisted Greek wedding. Great movie. It's a great movie. Really like my beautiful Dark Twisted Greek wedding, too.

Well, yeah, it's the end of this game. How expensive were the tickets? Like $10. Nice.

Greek maybe. Yeah, I definitely used to. You don't know that many money? I think they finally paid.

They finally paid. Yeah. Rich off-seeking money. You can go to anything on Broadway or anything.

No, that's actually expensive. I can't. Yeah, yeah. Oh, Hamilton isn't it like ridiculous.

It's like $2,000. And just such a great show also. Definitely worth every penny. Oh, yeah.

No. Does anyone not like Hamilton? Like I feel like everyone loves Hamilton. Well, I think have you been on Twitter at all in the past like a year?

Yeah, I know people make fun of it on Twitter. But I feel like lots of people. I think it's a vocal minority. Yeah, definitely.

It's cultural pushback. Yeah, it's like a lot of people that have never, but they haven't seen it though. Yeah, I think vocal minority was like a subtitle of Hamilton. Yeah, exactly.

That's basically what it's about. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. Oh, that's fine.

That was pretty clever. I liked it. Is it about minorities? Yeah, I don't know.

What was about Alexander Hamilton? Well, it's white people being played by black actors. So that's like the... Oh, but it's also like...

It's also like... Race flipping part of it. Oh, I like that. It's also like when you're high school like social studies with rap about like the Canadian shield.

Yeah. But like John, you must rap in the classroom almost. I have. I didn't quite do it like the...

I didn't quite do it like that lady through the video that went viral. How do we not talk about that? The lady was like singing the syllabus or whatever. You never saw that?

Oh man, it's like a 10 minute YouTube video. You guys keep talking and I send it to your house. Yeah, so this teacher's like singing her syllabus. But it's all like weird alkerioki style where it's like she's like...

And it's switching like every minute. Like I think there's some Katy Perry. It's all like top 40. It's all like top 40.

And then she's like singing the syllabus. So she's doing like a jukebox musical out of her own like course that line. Yeah. So one time when I had a long term contract and your mom would have been my boss at this time.

Perfect. I did teach or I did do a rap. I did start from the bottom was really big by Drake there. So I started from the bottom rap and I filmed myself doing it and then I played it for all my classes.

They seemed to like it. I don't think it was too awkward. It was also only like a minute long. So even if it was like, even if they hated it, it wasn't like this teacher was like, it was so long.

So you press play on a video of yourself. Wrapping. On the TV in the room for every class. That was my like going away.

Oh, I just sent it to you. It's seven as long. So just kind of start from the beginning. Fast forward through.

It was definitely one of those things where like, you know, as a teacher when you put yourself out there and do stuff like that. Like I would say, honestly, like being objective, like I would say there's probably like 80% of the kids really liked it. I thought it was like really funny. And then 20% were like, Mr.

Cullen is the late. Was it like ironic though? Yeah, like it was supposed to be funny. Like it was like, I mean, that's the difference between me and this teacher is that I'm a professional.

This teacher is like completely sincere about it. Yeah. Mine was definitely like, because sincerity is just like, it's like, I was throwing money at the camera of my laptop. Yes, clearly.

Like stuff like that. Like it was, yeah, no, it was like, obviously I was like poking fun at myself and the song and whatever. So yeah, it's the sincerity of this one. That's a real tough.

Oh, it's bad. I mean, it's real tough to watch. It is. Especially as a teacher.

It's really because and she doesn't seem to recognize that she's bombing you, which is the like that's the real like she's just soldering through, which I guess good for her. But like, ooh, the video is seven and a half minutes long and it clearly starts filming like part way through. So I'm guessing it's probably closer to like 10 minutes like when it really happened. Yeah.

Like, okay, well, like is she gonna keep going? Yeah, it's not. We don't have to just start it and it's. Oh, you're going to play it right now?

Yeah, that's what I sent it to. Oh, I just assumed that this is for personal viewing later. No, no, no, no, no. We don't have to watch the whole thing, but you'll get the idea within like.

Next we're DJing Paul. He gets so much worse. She doesn't really seem sure of her singing voice though. Oh, she's not.

For someone who has the conference to carry on for 10 minutes. I'm going to take you where it works. I'm going to take you where it works. I'm going to take you where it works.

I'm going to take you where it works. I'm going to take you where it works. I'm going to take you where it works. It's a medley.

It's pretty good though. She's got like colored lights going off on the ceiling also. I can't listen. Yeah, okay.

That's probably enough. Okay, yeah, no, we can tell them now. I can't look away. Yeah, you can.

Alright, fine. That was kind of amazing. I don't know how this evaded my grasp of everywhere. It was everywhere.

How long ago would you say? Like a month ago. Yeah, it was a month ago. I was like, oh, I'm going to take you where it was.

I'm going to take you where it was. It was everywhere. How long ago would you say? Like a month ago.

It was a start school. Oh, this is this year. Yeah, yeah. A month and a bit ago.

She reminds me of Ellie Kemper's character on the office. That's the degree of awkwardness that I'm getting off of that. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

It's horrible. Thank you for bringing that into my life. I'm not a problem. I'm not a problem.

I'm not a problem. I'm not a problem. I'm not a problem. I'm not a problem.

I'm not a problem. I'm a problem. I'm not a problem. I'm not a problem.

I'm not a problem. I'm a problem. I'm not a problem. I'm not a problem.

I'm not Yeah, cool guys like sing we are the world They may have when I left well, you guys are probably just yeah, women and ladies Well, I mean it was Rachel's birthday. I'd imagine that there were some girls there there were I was there for like 20 minutes I had to I had some where to be but like bad lady No, but it was really good And like like if the beer nerd I would love to have you on the show sometime. Yeah, 100% What you should have consulted us? No, no, no, we 100% what yeah, I want the beer on the show to talk about what just given the mic And let him go okay because he does know I was talking Yeah, I guess that's an open invitation.

I mean it's not on Twitter any longer so people want these screeds They're gonna have to get some screeds sound kind of negative. Well, I know I never read a Twitter feed before he shut down before I was aware of him unfortunately kind of screams on Twitter. Sure. You can have a 140 characters screen You just reply to your own tweets.

It's like a string. That's a reply. I think that's totally different Street has to be all on like one screen and read me Fucker we talking about I don't even know that's I've been in what the screen is the beer nerd's favorite fictional boxer Apollo screed Fuck I'm Apollo that joke. Well, of course And the recording of the last one we did drop our first donor exclusive episode.

Oh, yeah, and people loved it Yes, so what the reviews like on that? Oh, they're pretty positive for the most part Most people wanted to know what I said that was so appalling that it needed to be censored I'm the episode sensor like two things there was a second thing that John said that was censored also And a lot of people were asking how much they'd have to donate to get the uncensored more money than you guys And I just want to make it clear that I didn't say anything there were no curse words involved I like I think people thought that I like really went above and beyond Well, don't this isn't like 20 questions. You don't even like hints about what I'm just saying that I'm all I said was two people's names And the words yes, and the words no and Patrick Kane was one of the names Right, you guys made the same joke before I said You were both making jokes about the same thing and then I tried to join the party and you were like whoa whoa This is the worst thing I've ever I didn't go back. I did not make a joke about that at all I think if we did go back you would hear a step and say and can you prove that he scored the goal?

Is it provable that he did that? Oh, that's a little different. I think that's way different Like the failure of the justice Mine was to what did I say force it into the net force into the net that's not that's the same joke that I made I'm not a fucking wimp that bleeps his own shit. I didn't think I had you.

I just ruined it to a view I was like whatever man's fucking fine. I don't give a shit. I was a good bit I think what what I think that you know the issue with yours was that I felt like it was more of a trigger like it was more of a Like yeah, like yeah people would be yeah people would like I mean his mind could just be anything I guess but now there's people out there speculating that I'm like a putrid by all the ever we spent four episodes talking about how you fuck babies And now that you brought that up it's like it's back. Oh, that's what I heard someone else brought it up like a week ago I had nothing to do with it really someone brought it up in either the Facebook group or the Twitter the king baby was definitely brought up again Ah, well, I'm done with this.

Yeah, I know we retired it, but I'm just saying Bruce Arthur if you're listening Because you are okay, so you were saying like you know that you just want people to know that like what I said Was not that right and I would like people to know that what I said was horrible. Yes, it's really bad I was about like institutional failures on oh, we didn't even believe your What was bleeped from me. Oh, yeah, it was horrible. I just wanted to clarify but accurate.

Oh, yes, very accurate Of course I recall. Oh, yeah, incredibly I think people were I wasn't saying we felt like we had a sensor anything on a show that they were paying for But you know when we were in like the fourth hour jobs. We have fucking jobs like the fourth hour of recording ourselves in our job I have a job, but it's like I don't know what I could say to get fired. That's true I have a job where like I should be fired.

I should have already been fired. Like it's not push it Did you see like Rob Wiseman when you posted the fake IDs? Yes, and that like went super viral, right? Like he got docked by 4chan and like they had like huge friends and stuff going on about him The whole thing was actually fake though.

Oh, I know yeah, but people are like people are like people are like We're gonna ruin this guy's life. We're gonna like find his employers and like tell them and it's like I don't think they would give a shit Yeah, like Rob Wiseman more like Rob Whiz Men I will say that Rob visited the vine headquarters just last week and now they are like Yeah, no, no, no, no, he Rob says the curse of the whiz and I call it the whiz the whiz of death so Yeah, he went to vine had a quarter's last week and it was like super cool and everything and now they're shutting down forever Well, the only reason that I brought up the donor episode of them hoping to prompt. Yeah more donations I mean, oh, we did a great job at it. I think people can definitely agree like there were some great tweets about Like I love that I am paying real good show force me to or like coerce me to donate to their show So I could listen to three guys talk about a video game that I can't see and I like yeah That's that's what this is now and of course Sam Anderson also tweeted about the fact that she paid to hear us make fun of her by name And somehow that made her love us even more.

Yeah, we do something about like dates or dating Yeah, I said that Sam Why because it's exclusive to the donors Okay, but speaking of donors We were speaking of donors master debate Thank you for donating to the show to the show you work hard for your money that we know that we know segments where we read out all your names all your name if we say it wrong your parents are to blame I think that oh Yeah, right I forgot we like I think that That it's it was a little weird having Kevin here playing those names all Slightly embarrassed I mean I like that he was like dancing and stuff, but I was just like he definitely didn't understand the other one like he was like Why are you like murdering a CFL podcast? I don't understand what's that theme song for again? I that's for the top three questions right? Okay, but there later Yeah, but in the meantime There's really only one new donor to shout out and that is someone who edited their pledge up to five from four to get that sweet Sweet donor exclusive content donor and I will take any opportunity to say this name because I think this is one of the few Like ethnic names that I can actually say properly and that is Bishnu but a charia so Bishnu be thank you For a great your donation and yeah, I would love to hear the hot say Canada Punjabi announcers go into that Or just saying it quickly again and again There's actually one other note here and that was after we made fun of her at length on the episode Sam Anderson did edit her pledge from ten dollars a month to nine point two dollars a month Which I suppose I do deserve that so I'm okay with well you I mean I was the one who said all the offensive things But yeah, yeah, oh, but I guess yeah, well you had the one that got bleeped out yeah Yes, that's which was not necessarily about her.

I said it could be anyone right yes, but it was mostly about Sam specifically wonder what that could have been about Sam and Patrick There was another goal either it was two people yes, even Anderson. It was also about even even Sam Anderson Yeah, it's also great, but we are never doing a play-by-play for a video game again Well if we do well just people like this I think will be smart I think we'll be smarter about it like we'll play a better game. Yeah, and I tell 17 the computers playing each other It's just like so atrocious and I think also we will major indictment of the AI. Oh absolutely It was so remember when they were just like dump the puck in on a two one one one.

Yeah. Yeah, not even close to what a hockey game looks Well, that's not tightly true. I mean I've been to several kind of But it was definitely yeah, it was just went long I think like the next time maybe we would do it like we would watch it and then just talk about it after yeah I mean that's what we're gonna do for the the Russell madness episode. Yeah, exactly.

We're not doing a live comment I can't believe I have to watch that fucking thing. I'm excited. Yeah, at least like like can we get some good man? Like definitely get some good pizza.

Yeah, it's a pizza. It's like because I know that you just found out today that I don't drink yeah Sort of offensive to you, but Speaking of Stephanie mentioned that you've been to a few connex games this year. Yes, it's time to return a classic segment One that we have not done in a very long time. I was like 40 episodes at this point Yeah, because he was hurt all last season.

That's true and also We just felt like it was pretty mean like he's like a pretty good guy. Yeah, so I think we came around on Yeah, I still think he's great personality and he does like he brings excitement to the game for like all the wrong reasons But without bad his team is and how boring they are I will kind of take that like Tom Drance said in our first ever guest appearance If you like goals, he's a great player. Yeah, yeah, it doesn't matter a team Yeah, I can't wait goals and he has been bad. I can't wait to see Conor McDavid walk Dude walk by Ryan disingle.

I know so I'm so full-time just can't I just think I got dangles though I did not do single dangles single berries. I did not even know Like who is Ryan disingle? I don't know No, yeah, but two of them are gonna knock Yeah, it doesn't really count but he like sneezer was just like oh my god It's like I still I mean if you've figured out we're doing a snee's a segment again You know how a girl feels when she has a crush on Ryan disingles she gets disingles angles Goals against the connect to like the center of the card. Yes.

It's a given right? They should count for half Yeah, I'm so excited to see what and like so they're playing the upcoming games this weekend recording on the Thursday tomorrow It's Edmonton at Vancouver and then Washington comes in Vancouver on the Saturday back to back We're going to that game together. We are in John. We'll be at the game tomorrow.

Thanks for the invite It's nice. It's only my birthday weekend. I brought you two games last year and you're going to the game a single game last year Yeah, I know every couldn't go well every time I see the two of you posting photos together. It's like oh You couldn't go that was why the second time we went to the Colorado game to yeah, yeah, yeah That was dope.

Thank you. Feel partridge chill and Brent's yeah I mean, I don't know if we were supposed to say his name on the show, but but yeah I was gonna shout him out because I have a little story. I think last year. He said not to say his name on the show Well, pretty sure back to I'm on a bleeping for yeah, I was talking about this whole fucking thing Yeah, we should I was talking about this I went to like a Simpson's trivia thing yesterday.

Yes, okay at the wall No, no because it wasn't like a super hardcore one Okay, because Brent went to that and texted me I was like come to this I'm like I can't and you told me about afterwards It's crazy insane. They had to the one in Toronto It's ridiculous and the people who know it are just it's so there was a segment Brent was telling me and it was you know kind of like the Italian guy who works like all the odd jobs where he's like Hey, pali like he's got the mustache. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I might be but no Luigi's the the Italian chef. Oh, that's right Yeah, this is kind of like the new right yeah, yeah, but they had a second on him and it was like name every job He's had on the Simpsons and people were getting all.

Oh, yeah Well, I went I went to the one in Toronto Which is where it started yeah and they show three episodes of the show as part of it So we watched one episode before it even started and like almost everyone there knew every word to the episodes Which was very jarring to me yeah, because they weren't well Okay, the first one was camp crusty so I can sort of understand knowing the words that that one But then the other two were like pretty obscure episodes and then they had a girl who is the host and she has it like stumped the host Segment and no one could stump her and the questions were obscene like Bone-motes level yeah, I was like it was just like it'd be like okay So there was this character that appeared once in the show like what they had a logo on their shirt What was the logo or something? No, it was like because yeah, I was like 20 like there's 20 however many 29 seasons now or whatever it is 28 Like and it was just nuts like I just couldn't even I can't even comprehend like how much you'd have to watch the Simpsons Like it's not like it's not like there's five seasons of it like it was the level of obscure knowledge Was bananas, but I was pretty happy I got one pretty obscure question wrong or right Sorry, which was when up who it was like finish this sentence silly customer blank and I got it right Yeah, silly customer you cannot hurt the Twinkie. Oh, yeah I was like the first one who I was like one of the only ones I knew like they were just yeah It's really hard. Yeah, the trivia you went to one that was not well It was just like a normal bar that I decided to do yeah, but like I corrected the right because he so there were two of them I didn't correct him on one of them So so it happened once and you're kind of like whatever I'll let this slide yeah Yeah, I was also kind of thinking like the team you were competing with probably also put the same answer So it wouldn't really affect us either way, right?

Okay, obviously you're saying you were the talk to you okay? Yeah, but also they had a lot of music questions and they weren't about the Simpsons It was just like name Oh, and it was like obscure kind of Halloween songs, okay? Yeah, that's where you lost a lot points. Not since then anyway So the questions were how does how do they trick the devil in the episode where or the segment where Homer sells a soul for the donut Right, and it's like how do they get out of the deal?

And it's because Homer has already sold his soul to March right and the answer was Homer doesn't eat the donut But like he he eats the donut at the end like he does try and trick the devil by not even don't even eat sit And it's like how does he get out of the deal like he's already sold a soul to March right like that's a more correct answer Yes, and he didn't accept that one and also they said the kangakotas were from Rigel 4 They're from Rigel 7 Rigel 7 yeah, and I was like at this point, you know what the other nerd team for sure said Rigel 7 It's like we're losing points right I'm assuming that one who showed them didn't get though in the music segment was Bobby Boris picket Yes, because you saw the question from Chris. No well. Yeah, but also I know who sang the monster Yeah, I knew it was Bobby something. I'm gonna say Bobby Darren.

It's not Bobby. No, it's Bobby. It's Bobby. McPherin quote Boris Yes, it's like a nickname that he had I don't know well for that song by Boris picket sometimes who knows Bobby picket Anycase it was fun.

I mean it was wrestling trivia at the bill more. No, I know so it wasn't never quite the same We can do this because I'm a bit of a well I'm just not that you weren't here last week a well, okay, Kevin banner was wonderful in your absence But also because if we'd done this last week we would have to talk about how great Lucas B's is because we got some people right I'm uncomfortable cam. I think who said like is Lucas B's a good now? He but that's the thing he wasn't like he wasn't small sample size He had a big hit in the first game and it was a great open eyes hit on Michael Frolic and he sucked the rest of the game He had a spin around I think he pulled off one I think Jefferson was saying that he's like what the third best cannot in the opening week But he was so bad like the team was still bad like he's it was not I watch all those games He and I watched these are closely obviously because I love him But he's not a good player.

That's probably a bigger indictment of the rest of the team than it is a complex Exactly. Yeah, and he has been a trotous since then so we can do the second I gotta think something up but play the theme. Yes. It's the Lucas B's a would-do of the week So for people who are new to the show and have never heard this second before It's where Stephen has to come up with something that he's willing to do or willing to sacrifice in order to remove Lucas B's From the Vancouver Canucks I would do and those of you who've been following my hockey account recently Well, no, this is like a big deal.

I would travel back in time to 2014 and redraft Jake for Tannen So you would do nothing men because you know, but I'm saying if I had okay Let's say I I felt like in time and I have the opportunity to pick William Okay, so you've already traveled back in time. Yeah and changed the draft to William kneelander. Yes Let's say that's happened And now you have to travel back in time again to stop yourself from doing the thing you did the first Exactly. So it's like back to the future to where there's like two times traveling same people who are crossing paths at the same Yeah, yeah, and I bring back the sports at home act from 2040 and the kind of something to Seattle.

Okay, wait So I was alright I just got really confused because because I think we can say that that William kneelander is a much better player than Britannia Yeah, but I'm just as to why you would draft I think for me the big thing that Jake Fann Have pretend has going for him is that he's from Abbotsford. Oh, I think the way the letter is not from Abbotsford I think the big thing that Jake Fannen has going for him is his body See you keep saying this you keep calling him fat and I'm finally going to protest because like he's bigger than he was last year But he's not fat by any stretch of the imagination He's not even like true. Do de levels of dewy like I don't understand where this is coming from and as a fact I myself I finally had enough Well, I think we can all agree that Jake can call that I think I think we can all agree to Jake for ten And is from Abbotsford. I've never called okay.

I yes, we can agree. He's from out and William you matter is not from So he's from like she left the eye. Yeah, which is not Abbotsford She left yeah, and so I think you look at Jake for 10. You look at Jake for 10 And he's he is a hockey player from Abbotsford, which is near Vancouver And it's like well, you have to make that pick of course because he's from Abbotsford can't miss out on a local boy Yeah, he's from I don't know he's from Abbotsford You know that that that literally was probably the extent of the discussion actually William you landed was born in Calgary So did his dad I guess he was playing there at the time so he could have been playing for Canada this whole time but Okay, yeah, so anyway take for 10.

I don't know if we should just like get this out here for like non Canucks fans and hockey fans Jake for 10 and is Eastern Abbotsford. I'm sorry. It's like a town near Vancouver. Is it close?

Yeah, and any group as a Canucks fan and so like that that's important to me It's like you look so nine times out of 10 even like 10 times out of 10 you get a chance to pick a player Who's from a town near the town you're playing in I mean you have you can sometimes that works out Not in the draft the college free agency. Oh, Troy's not sure. Yeah from Richmond I mean, that's even closer than anything. I think I think so with him the difference is he does not look amazing He's like one game was the best player in the entire game.

Well, he actually between Vancouver and Ottawa Look better than Eric Carlson. Okay. He's in London. Yeah, he actually did look legitimately.

He's amazing. He's not amazing. I'm sorry Yes, have you seen what we're working with out there? Yeah, yeah, no, so compare it Yeah, okay, but we didn't say comparatively amazing.

We said amazing Justin just told me he was better than Eric Carlson He was a game he was he actually was in that one game That also brings into question the fact that when you draft for position instead of best player available Yeah, and position being at first suddenly you get players who come out of nowhere who make the position no longer needed because couldn't you say that? Stetcher plays a probably similar game and fills similar roles to all you levy He's like three years away I suppose so yeah, but just out of nowhere you suddenly have his player who doesn't you know makes it that you don't have that positional need anymore They still have a position like they still have a position and it's like a nice problem to have I guess yes It's when I came on this show and started talking about Nikita Zaitsev or Connor Karak and how good they've been you guys would be like fuck You and I have to sit here and listen to you guys talk about Troy Stetcher like he's one of the best he men in the league He's beautiful boy. Have you seen? Listen, I don't think he's bad.

I don't think he's bad and I have seen some clips and he does remind me of Danny Siverette So he's got a good like 400 game career ahead of him, but he's I mean like let's be real He's a beautiful boy and ten years. I'll be dating him Nice no, but like seriously though if I said Zaitsev guys I mean you should have seen in the Ottawa game. He was better than Carlson. You guys would shove it up my ass So you know you might agree.

Oh my god If I watched this fictional game that you're making up Maybe I would be in sites that played Carl something in the first game of the year. That's true. Yes. Anyway, I will I thought you were and also I was I was I obviously don't think Jake or Tan is actually fat Okay, I felt like that was implied I feel as though if they just told him that there was a cactus club in Utica We wouldn't be having this issue.

He would love it. It's like the abbotsford of New York So I don't know All that happened was I went to a cactus club in Abbotsford Jake for Tan was there because I feel like he's there every day That's what I was gonna say it's like if you go to a cat's club and abbots for chances are you and that was my tweet I said I went to cactus club and I was for the jaker tan was there because of course and people somehow we're like Oh, yeah, bro. Yeah, bro. Yeah, exactly that was my whole point and then I was like that what the kids not allowed to eat now Yeah, cuz that's what I was saying.

He should be starving himself that while they're Well all I'm saying is he was in cactus club. He had several alcoholic beverages and a pretty large meal. Is he fat? No No, is he from abbotsford?

Yes, he's definitely I will just say one thing whenever someone's like well Jim Benning is a really good scout He fucked up like the most important draft pick in like 20 years for the Canucks like he fucked it up so bad And they fucked up his development anyway, and I don't use that for a man Neelander is second in the NHL and scoring. Oh, you know, I know if you've seen it again. I will I will just say he is not From abbotsford position for ten is first in NHL and being from abbotsford is he first is there anyone else in the NHL from? I think I'll google right now there might be he's actually made me hate an entire city Well, not him like you've been in has also just the city itself Yeah, you know like visiting out as far as what makes me hate it well.

There's that too. Yeah, anyway, that's enough of that I'm really I'm sure he has a nice truck. This is gonna be such a bad year. Other NHL players We don't have to do this.

It's a bad word BC. No, it's important include Ryan Craig, okay Okay, I don't think he's a good Games in the 80s no wait for Tampa. Didn't he? Oh, I was born in 1982.

He wasn't playing in my idea. He's a really good baby Mike funk was a defenseman for Buffalo and also the Canucks. I believe he was signed by the yeah From abbotsford plays nine NHL games from abbotsford plays for the Canucks Brad Moran. I remember that's a great name Yeah, Mackenzie Scabsky.

That's a great name gold tender played two games. You know no Scabsky. He's in the Rangers system He's like our third goal. He's like a good friend of been.

Oh, yeah, of course. Yeah, they were very happy for him Yeah, we'll do it very well. Yeah, it's nice. How's it good?

He himself does Mackenzie Scabsky. Yeah, well Should we do the clip of the week now? Yeah, well before we get there we can talk about a guy who is a perennial RGS favorite Austin Matthews. Well, you could talk about him if you want.

I don't want to it's better worse than Troy Sanger much better Austin Matthews actually got mentioned in NXT last night by Corey Graves who said that the Toronto Maple Leafs wanted to trade Austin Matthews to NXT for Bobby Rude that's how glorious Bobby Rude is That's a good reference. I was very much catering towards Toronto as they had there. Right. Let's turn into real graph show We already had an episode of that last week I'm gonna listen to it stuff from a guy who of course makes the news quite a bit and every time he does we talk about him on Oh, yeah, which we're boy.

We're cooking in Kirios's kitchen again. Oh, what a guy. I love this guy Nick Kirio says elected to participate in the NBA Celebrity All-Star game instead of playing in the Rotterdam tournament. Nice.

It's not suspended from that tournament For like six tournaments he received an eight-week suspension from ATP for intentionally tanking that match Oh, yeah, yeah, he did receive like a two months suspension there But I don't think that that suspension will overlap with the NBA all-star game which I believe is Oh, okay, I didn't realize they were sending out I didn't realize it was like the for some reason I thought it was like NBA Australia celebrity game like I didn't know It's the one of the actual like the thing is like that makes sense Isn't there's nothing stopping him from like just not going to a tournament? Mello's played in it last year and no no, no, I'm thinking maybe more like golf or players You don't have to go. Yeah, well like I'm no It's the same as like American tennis players actually like playing and Wimbledon the French Open It was like kind of just like whatever like even his recent is like legacy if you read Agassi's book like he has a couple times He's like yeah, I just wasn't really feeling Wimbledon so I didn't go He's 14th in the world now Kirios Yeah, and part of his problem why he's like intentionally tanking matches like that is that he just feels like his travel schedule is too much It's too much tennis all the time and he doesn't like it anymore Well, he doesn't like tennis anytime so to have it all the time. Yeah, pretty tough Why wouldn't you go play in the celebrity?

Yeah, and Milo's played in it last year So it'd be good if they were like kind of if he played again and they were on opposing teams I don't know that he would get that anybody again. I feel like it was like a tournament special Yeah, for sure probably but he will play well in the game in New Orleans when they play I believe it's a lot of screams New Orleans like a New Zealander He's Australian. I know but close enough And yeah, I know it'd be good for him to just like have fun and do things that are not tennis I feel like now it's good dad We've moved on like from like just marveling at his antics It's like the speeds of thing now. I like care about his emotional well-being as a human being right Hey, it's a beauty.

What a good guy. Yeah, and he's the exact kind of character who is the perfect fit for something like the NBA celebrity All-Star game. Oh, he's gonna have fun though. It's gonna be funny if you like tank the yandie I'll just get so mad or if he claims to yeah Just lift the ball in the crowd and like I hope he's miked up But I like most of them like playing the whole game.

I'm pretty sure yeah I'll be dunks on Kevin Hart. That'd be awesome who was just there every time. Yeah, but speaking of Australian displaying basketball Ah, yeah, that's a good segue. Yeah.

Yeah, that's a good segue. Yeah, I think he might be Yeah, I'm not exactly sure but regardless speaking of last time we talked about Nick Curie. I'm sake from New Zealand It was in relation to you They're not being enough characters in the game of hockey Yes, PK Su-Man touching on that as well and saying that hockey needs to market its players as characters more But I think maybe the problem that the NHL has with that is that when those players move on from that team You're interested in that team as a fan kind of travels with that player to the next team because I'm definitely having that with like the habs And that's a big way right now and that like my girlfriend is a Montreal Canadiens fan But when we watch their games together, it feels weird that he's not there anymore. See Ben?

Yeah, it's weird to see him in a Nashville jersey for sure So still like it's not getting any it's getting weird to see him in like a yellow helmet and stuff Yes, but a league that has no problem generating characters that you get invested in of course would be the NBA And one of those characters this week happens to be New Zealand zone Steven Adams Who didn't watch any of the action on opening night this past week? He was a little bit too busy and we will find out exactly what he was busy doing right now So Japanese anime Some Japanese anime One piece one piece is about my research I see what you do One punch man is well Classic One punch one punch man. Oh, I guess it's another one punch man and one piece. Yeah one of them is about pirates.

He said yeah Yeah, I want to look these up here watching Japanese anime Oh, what in Japanese anime? Can you please cut that and just play it all the time? Oh, yeah, that's what we said we should cover the iPhone app because the real good show soundboard Yeah, that's our part of our news downboard for sure that is taking the place right next to Kurt Schillington That he doesn't jump straight to pedophilia I have a daughter my daughter has friends. I've seen my daughter friends.

I'm a man. Wow. She's a beautiful young lady That's I don't immediately jumped him a last finger one punch man tells the story of sitama a completely overpowered superhero Who has grown bored by the absence of challenge in his fight against evil? Plot on earth like supercontinent planet mentioned to be earth in the English dub Strange monsters have been mysteriously appearing and causing disasters resulting in the world superheroes rising to combat them alongside the local supervillains Saitama the protagonist of the series is the strongest hero alive in the entire franchise hailing from the metropolis of city Zed who easily defeats the monsters or other villains with a single punch to the point where monsters just explode when struck I'm watching it right now However due to his immeasurable strength Saitama has become bored with his power and is constantly trying to find stronger opponents who can present a challenge to him He looks extremely sad at having blown up this monster right here But I'm hearing it that you know both of those enemies are very good if you happen to one punch man What was the other one one one piece one piece?

Not quite as obscure as one punch man I think we have we probably have some anime fans. Yeah, I'm sure we can only if you knew what John's bleeped out I was gonna say I was just about to repeat it. Look at me bleeped out. Yeah, please don't but that was a great clip Yeah, it was nice hearing a new scene.

Okay, that's what we're talking about anime And of course another character in the NBA larger than life very funny who established himself as a character a full year before he was able to actually Play as a result of an unfortunate injury is Joel and beat. Oh my god Finally played his first game one piece has aired 757 episodes Jesus one piece follows the adventures of monkey D Luffy a young man who's body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a devil fruit with his diverse group Pirates named the straw hat pirates Luffy explores the grand line in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as one piece in Order to become the next king of the pirates Sounds I wouldn't watch that's the pirate one. Yeah, that's the pirate one. Yeah, you were saying about Joel and beat I wish that there was a clip of this definitely would have been the clip of the week this week Unfortunately, this was from a interview that he did with sports illustrated So it's only in written text from an article titled Joel and beat quote.

I'm the process He says, you know how I learned to shoot I watched white people just regular white people They really put their elbow in and finish up top you can find videos of them online Nice, so just maybe just a disclaimer don't search white people shooting The Sixers fans chanted trust the process really yeah, just hilarious because they're protesting hinky being fight Yeah, that's why yeah Was that the same game that that crazy guy in the front row flipped off? Yeah, yeah Yeah, if you haven't seen that you should check it out But we can probably reaction is just as good he kind of points at him as the guy himself And that you know clips like that will really make me miss a vine Yeah, and I mean we we were gonna talk about vine on this episode But it's kind of like it's too way too visual because all the best vines are like kids hurting themselves And you need to I mean the screams are usually pretty good You could play play that one of the kid on the ball screams They're haunting play the one of the ball because you can still get like the screams still does it and we can leave it up to the viewers Imagine a son to find what happened to this child and he's definitely he's like six years old Yes, but it's also exceedingly funny. Do you have it? I do I do I do yeah It's making me think of it itself like that kid must have broke his back Still alive.

Yeah, yes, but I think that'll do it for a sports content this week Though of course there's always some sports content when we take a look at our top three questions of the week Hey, yo, it's the top three questions of the week on real good show. You know what the fuck it is bitch We murder and CFL podcast up in this motherfucker Russell look out Step in one of the questions this week three questions. I guess that's the idea Yeah, so top three questions of the week Tom Hannah Two one Tom Hannah comes in at number three two three and his question is what is what is gonna be the worst current event Halloween costume to wear this year? And it's not current events, but I will say there are so many people dressing up as the Heath Ledger Joker There will be like 100% there will be yeah, I think more Oh, they're gonna be more Heath Ledger Joker.

No, we're Jared Lee. Don't you think so? I just because it's more I do do people even see that movie. Yeah, no, it was a huge hit but it was also wildly unpopular But think of like a type of person who would pay money to go see suicide I feel like that's one of those like probably also they would dress up as That's one of those where like my own subset like we're talking about Hamilton We're like my like the internet culture that I've set up for myself.

Yeah like my Facebook and Twitter Like you hadn't heard of the Logan trailer. Yeah, like I don't know anybody that liked it or even went to see it Like to me it was like a ginormous bomb like if you told me that it made like five million dollars at the box office I've been like I think it was number one of box office for the first week I think it's number one of the box office for the entire year. I think it shattered a record for biggest August opening ever Okay, I'll look this up. Oh that's depressing box office I was saying the type of person who paid to go see suicide squad probably used to dress up as the Heath Ledger Joker And it's now going to dress up as the third leader Joker the type of person who's still gonna dress up as the Heath Ledger Joker is the type of person who considers himself like a film buff Because they like Christopher Nolan.

Yeah, I've you seen the prestige I love the dark night. I love inception You know and like they are gonna still dress up as someone who went to film school. It sounds like you're speaking from experience here Oh, yeah, no, I mean, I love Christopher Nolan. I don't know if you've seen stuff dark night.

I mean his take on Batman You know, I do love the prestige though. He's really good The thing I mean the thing with Batman is that there's just so much depth there You know, I mean it's a it's a grown man in a bat costume beating up a clown with bat-shaped stuff Yeah, and all his names of his things with bat. It's like more like he brought the approach where like he took Batman and like turned it into heat You know like that's the kind of movie he made yeah, exactly I like those are the guys who are gonna dress up as and like you can look it up on This upcoming weekend Halloween weekend just group just Twitter search like media search Joker Halloween and there will be people dressed up Yeah, yeah, let's hear that to me is the worst one just anything joke. Okay, so suicide squads number eight On your app we're doing trivia.

Oh, I can look Okay, so Justin see how many more of the top ten you can get I'll say that there's one Japanese film Just just do above the seven above the suicide squad. Okay, sure. Yeah, do the seven above suicide squad angry birds No The secret life of pets. Yes, that's number six X men apocalypse No, that's ten There's some obvious start track beyond no Is 19 and angry birds is 18 Of dumb parents this summer there are some big movies here you're missing some Ghostbusters Think like you're there's like a couple superhero movies you're missing Five One and now you're missing two cartoons I think I ran through the depths of my cartoon knowledge on those two guesses Yeah, yeah, yeah two big ones like when you hear them you're like, oh, yeah This is a fun game for the listeners at home they're probably screaming at their radio in a car Okay, so you missed Zootopia, oh right and finding Dory finding Dory and the other one you missed was the jungle book and Oh, and Deadpool You managed to get a secret life of pets.

Yeah, I would never get I mean I wouldn't have gotten a lot of them But I mean I also guessed angry birds and those busters was 24 Yeah, that's pretty low. I guess that's question number three from Tom I'm gonna go with angry birds again. It's probably the worst Halloween costume. Oh, dude Have you ever seen like a little kid dress up in an angry bird's question?

This is probably just as out of touch as going as the he fledged I don't think so like kids are such is still huge really you play it all the time still no, but But the black fucking came out this year kids are allowed to go talk I was gonna say that Ken bone would be really bad But then awesome Matthew's dressed up as Ken bone and I kind of liked it so yeah Like any actually kind of looked pretty like it looked pretty was a good Ken bone costume Like you know it was like totally sincere like there was no ironie level whatsoever Yeah, that's probably what sort of like takes away from it seems like a pretty straight lace dude Yeah, but I did look like it was pretty the costy. Oh my god. Yeah, that's great. Yeah, but like he's really Utilizing his extremely long forehead.

Yeah. Oh, yeah, I'm trying to get manager some dude He's in bone ball. I mean you guys have seen the Austin hat. Yeah, he's a tall headed man of course Um, so yeah, like maybe Ken boat because the thing that I don't like about the topical costumes is when is when they can be lazy Like at least even with Heath Ledger Joker like you got to try decently hard to not look like a total asshole that like just Half I like Donald Trump will be extremely lazy.

Yeah, that's just a suit and bronzer Yeah, maybe a half exactly and that's the same thing with Ken bone right like if you have a beard to shave into a mustache If you don't get just get a fake mustache draw a pair of glasses and a red sweater and then be like I'm Ken bone And I also hated that thing from the second it happens. So so yeah, so I'll say that I'll say that because I don't like a lazy topical costume Okay, I like if you're gonna go topical even if I don't like it. I just want to see at least an effort put in yeah Well sexy Ken bone. That's probably the worst.

Well, I guess yeah, that's true or sexy Harambe. Um, I also like the There was oh, I guess they're saying Harley Quinn is gonna be like the most popular for girls costume and I say okay You ready? I'm ready for you. I'm ready for Harley Quinn.

Yep. I'm into it question number two What's wrong? Here's from Dink Magic and it is has there ever been a basketball player that could jump high enough to dunk his own ass? So that would require him to be able to jump over the rim.

Okay, so on a standard like you know legal basketball net because the Vince Carter famously put his whole arm in the rim. Yeah, so I mean and there's also talk that he might do the dunk contest this year Which would be the greatest like I would I would love that do you Matt like if Vince comes back? You think do you think LeBron would do it that might be the one time they could get LeBron to do it? Maybe yeah, I would I think he would want to be a part of that Yeah, so that would be pretty epic if they could get it they could get it because I think the curious would be I definitely still watch The Vince Carter dunk contest like once every couple months like there's nothing that gets me more excited like I don't need coffee Or like drugs or alcohol to like give me stimulation.

I'll just watch the Vince Carter dunk competition It's the best would that be like if someone dunk their own ass that'd be an automatic dunk contest winner. Yeah, yeah But so that's what I'm saying like I think of all like I'm guys although last year man I mean both Levine and Gordon were nuts. Yeah, they have huge shots Okay, or what about that Jordan Kilganan guy who's like the best like stunt dunker? He could probably dunk his own ass.

Well, I've just done a Google search here for the highest vertical in the world and number one belongs to a Cuban professional volleyball player, okay Though the next guy is a professional dunker with slam nation Jordan Kilganan It's Cadur Ziani, okay never heard of him and he is set to hold the world record in the vertical jump at 60 inches Oh my god, it's like it's five feet, but a hoop is ten feet up So he's not gonna lower this ass isn't even halfway to the hoop and also like what would qualify is it? Because you can't dunk your ass ass would feel behind it would be higher than this. It would be higher Yeah, I mean I hope it's as higher than his feet So yeah, I mean you believe he's like two thirds of the way there if there's like a really deformed basketball player Who's asked was like at chest level or he has Then would you have his ass was on his back? His ass was on his back.

He'd have bad hops though then not necessarily well Well, I mean maybe he just has an extra ass on his back or it's like a growth that's like shaped enough like an ass That's like technically call it a second ass. I think that's totally doable Yeah, like a weird like fact deposit on his back that was shaped like an ass and with a size of ass that's doable Yeah, but who has that no one has that I don't know I mean there's gotta be some like hunchback weird ass basketball player I had a friend growing up like Serbia or something who was born with one of his balls on his chest Hmm what actually yeah, they like they were he had this like growth and then they like writing almost like his chest cavity It was a nut and it was just not and they had to take it off of his chest The old chest nut yeah Exactly and they had to put it back in his sack He had like a liscar in it on there Well dick magic also had a follow-up question which I'm gonna count to this part of the same question sure which was if the hoop was big enough Could Shaq physically have dunked spud web. Oh, no question. Yes, but we blas it was was light I mean spud web was like Stephen dementia.

Yeah, cuz it also wouldn't have had like he didn't say he didn't say it would have had to be like a nice Dunk always you know, he is just too handy. Yeah. Oh, yeah, so that's 100% yeah Oh, I think so easily but web was 133 pounds five foot seven. He is smaller than me.

Yeah, so seven so exactly So yeah, I think I think he very easily could have gone into the fetal position and Shaq could have dunked him for sure Oh, no, you wouldn't even have to make the hoop that much bigger. I don't think like No, we'll yeah, which is to fit through the entire yeah, sure. Oh, yeah, a little smaller than he's if he's tucked up into a ball Yeah, he's in the field position. Yeah, you're going.

I think you don't know how big a human is you think he's gonna easily dunk him through a Regulation a smaller than a little hoop. I have a photo right here of spud web sitting on top of a regulation hoop I think if he talked his legs he might be able to fit into it with no alterations whatsoever Yeah, yeah Shaq is dunking him. So he's gonna have there's like a throwing motion. You understand that right?

Yes So well, I mean, it's like a tuck it would have to be it would have to be bigger than a hula hoop. I think I don't think so okay Well, I agree to disagree. Yeah, I'm gonna go on to question number one this week Just from at Mouse Rat 300 points Mouse Rat fan and he asks my friend in college said he played quarterback in high school and once through a touchdown pass to himself Is this possible? I think your friend in college was a big early 90s wf wrestling fan.

Yeah, we did watch the clips before the show Yes, what's the name? Mr. Perfic's here? Would do yeah, he would so he had all of these vignettes where he would do something with a famous athlete And they would talk about how he was like the perfect athlete and then he would do some example of the sport and the football one He was with it look like a minnesota Vikings player a defensive back or something And then yeah, he threw the ball and caught it and say that clip because they did like a retrospective package, right?

Yeah, I don't know if that was wwe yeah, I would think yeah, or somebody I think it was a wwv There's tons of like athletes in that so regardless I think was that Sergeant slaughter? Sergeant That exact same thing my friend used to have a story where he's back in high school and played quarterback and threw a touchdown to himself Sergeant slaughter is the old prospector I have a lot of different I think sergeant slaughter said the prospector category Yeah, I thought slaughter said he did it. Oh the he said that he did it. Okay, so first of all is it possible?

Yes, actually playing a really bad team really good because there's there's quarterback height That's the number one thing yeah, you also know you'd speed each short distance and height so it would look on the five It would have to be a yeah, so it have to be a short throw I'm assuming yeah, you don't have to fucking bomb it straight up in the air Yeah, to give yourself time to get over there, but then also the height people jump up. Oh, I was talking about height of the pass Okay, okay, I think height of the player would help to yeah or vertical vertical Yeah, cuz it's gonna be a contested catch, but I hate to poke a holiness But I'm pretty sure a quarterback is not an eligible receiver that might be the other thing So well what if they did like a flea flicker type thing and the ball got like thumb boulders You know what I mean like if you'd already they did a flea flicker because you can occasionally make the quarterback Right, right? Uh, maybe yeah, there's ways to make yeah, I guess maybe the quarterback isn't eligible What if they there are some flea flickers where well not a flea flicker You know but a flea flicker where you yeah, so you pass it back to the court Let's say the running back or maybe like a wildcat thing so you snap it directly to the running back The running back fumbles it the quarterback and running down feel he comes back and grabs the ball It's a term around and come back it will require a lot of things to go But it's your and the five that he doesn't have to come back very far. Yeah, but you still have to come back behind that Yeah, I don't know I think it's possible to get into the end zone if the past was like so high in the air that players like Just looked up at how high it was going then you could just walk around them and be Yeah, kind of like the Russell Wilson pass in that green Bay playoff game a couple years ago or like last year or two years ago When you just fucking it was for the extra point It was to like a virgin you just chucked it straight up in the air Yeah, and how come into Dixers like looked at it because it was so high up and yeah, so it's something like that basically Yes, so it says uh as for a four this quarterback's receiver eligibility So can a quarterback throw the ball over a defender's head then catch it legally before it touches another player?

Players can throw backward passes as many times as they want as for a forward pass Yes, once and as long as the quarterback is wearing an eligible number in high school in college Okay in the NFL the thrower cannot legally catch his own pass until it is touched by another player however, there is a video of this here of In a recent game against Mars Hill University North Greenville University quarterback Nelson He was dropped back and threw a short pass to his left But the ball appeared to get deflected by a defensive lineman still he was managed to only catch his own pass But run it all the way for a touchdown and we can watch this video here and see exactly how much it gets tipped Oh, yeah, I'm back to him. Yeah, and then he just ran that's completely different than receiving your own Yeah, you're probably receiving your own pass. Yeah, but I thought maybe that's what happened Yeah, I'm also at the quarterback is eligible in both high school and as long as the ring and and it's a Little number. Yeah, so could it have happened in high school.

I say yes. I say yes. I said fan Yes, thank you for your question. Thank you for this discussion that you're welcome for the 300 points Absolutely and with that we exit the top three questions of the week and head into everybody's favorite second cuz it means we're on the whole stretch The cherry on top of our cynical Sunday where we picked the things we like from the world at large one good thing Gentlemen, what do you like this week?

I'm gonna say the clothing store Uniqlo went there in New York It's like a Japanese H&M. Okay, I went the last time I was in New York today I went to Vancouver and they have one Toronto, but it's like the perfect type of clothing for my body type Which is out of a small That's great and it's cheap to it's like cheap cheap in the h&m better quality in H&M and just nicer stuff all around the nation Oh, you know I think would have been a book, but I forgot the name of the book. All right. Well, say it for next week.

I guess Did you want me to go now? Sure go ahead? Okay I'm gonna pick something that you would need to add someone on Facebook as a friend to be able to see But we talk about him on the show so often that you are probably friends with him on Facebook already Some of you might be anyways and that gentleman is none other than number three question-asker this week Tom Hannah and cereal pooper Yes, the cereal pooper of Acrono high oth He's been doing a video series lately on his Facebook page where he it's like a parody of people with a YouTube channel I guess it's very very funny his first couple videos were about home self-defense and he's a bunch of knives to everything It's extremely funny. I've really greatly enjoyed watching the evolution of this video series I wish that he was posting it in more public places like if he actually put it on YouTube I think it would be very popular because it's you've been watching them too, Stefan.

They're quite funny And you know I don't want to take credit for What someone else's creativity? But is it any surprise that after coming to Vancouver and hanging out with the three of us and realizing that hey Three of my favorite content creators are just average normal dudes like me. I can be a content creator too We're not cereal poopers that he has gone back home and is now doing that also I don't want to take credit for Tom creating these things But now listen to me credit for the next six in much the same way that I have often credited the sports-valid podcast with which John You've guessed it on I have guess on and I dare say the greatest episode that they've ever had on there Which inspired me to try and start this show right first place right those guys can take credit for this all they want Well, they shouldn't because our show is much better than yours Regardless I just feel like since we've started this show a lot of our regular contributors and listeners have started doing creative things Also, and it really warms my heart to see that and I really enjoy the creative things that they're doing And I would strongly recommend that you friends Tom Hannah on Facebook so you can watch his hilarious videos All right, my one good thing is not watching Tom Hannah do anything Because we've inflated that guys ego way more than enough Well, we don't say shits on cars for like a living well, I don't think we're a living Cereal poopers doing it. No, if you're a cereal anything, that's basically your job.

Yeah, yeah, I don't Okay, you think a serial killer. That's their job is killing A job is a service that you provide in order for in exchange for money So he has his own patreon patreon.com slash a grand pooper Akron Akron Akron pooper the a grand apron apron I always think of a corn every time a corn a grin a grin oh, I always think of corn When I think of corn I think of freak on a leash That's my one good thing this week the song freak on a leash I really don't have a one good thing this week. Can you guys tell? I I have well, yeah, I've read many books, but Yes, I read many leather bound books.

I will okay sure I'll recommend a book because why not this book is by a man called Peter Cameron I recommend a YA book at the at our live show and obviously Carrie brought the book and brought it Yeah, of course after you it's part of my brand and Carrie you really liked it She read it and said she read it in a day and loved it So I'll recommend another young adult book by Peter Cameron called someday this pain will be useful to you And it's kind of like there's a lot of books that are kind of like modern updates of catcher in the rye or whatever And it kind of falls into that kind of category of like a young man kind of discovering himself But it's a really really excellent story very interesting story And I've read it a few times I've given it out to a few students that actually had to buy extra copies of it because normally if I lend a book to a student I don't get it back so so yeah, I'm actually only if you lend a book to a co-host you don't get it back also That's true. That's very true. I still have your jona-carey Oh, do you okay cool, so I like that you brought Carrie Carrie's like I let you the Jonah Carrie book so long ago, but the I think I packed it with my own stuff. You'll get it back.

Oh, I'm not worried about it But yeah, so anyway check it out someday this pain will be useful to you Peter Cameron Alright and with that that will do it for this week's episode Our roommate is nobody as we continue to record in the real good studios here in Olympic Village Our intern also nobody for the time being that we'll see how long that lasts for and Donate to the show on patreon if you were so inclined if you want to receive some bonus content Yeah, oh and someone was asking if bonus content is retroactive and yes It is so once you start donating to the show you'll have access to all the phone Back episodes and all the leap jokes. Yeah, we strongly encourage you to do that It helps us of course and until next week. I'm Justin Morrisett Stefan heck John Colin be real be good be real good. I'm just gonna say something here, but bleep it out Okay, so it sounds like what I said was objectionable.

Yeah, you can keep this and this might be funny But just pretend I was like oh Stefan says something. Yeah, you didn't get your bleep moment. Yeah So you know whatever I said both had controversy after the last day. Yeah, so you're gonna say it right now.

Yeah You just have to throw in a bleep Okay, well that's not even close to the most horrible thing that we would say on the show HIV Maybe you should make a reference to what we were talking about last week and then a particular person ending up with AIDS I have AIDS. Okay, well, that's not what I was for sure My god
