64 - Does "Good And Bad" Even Exist?
from #GetPaid Be Free (W/ Josh Forti) · host Josh Forti
In this episode, I’m going to talk about absolute truth and moral law, making decisions, God, the bible, and other things that most people will probably disagree with me on. We are always told that we should be good people and do the right thing at all times, but the same people who tell us that, are people who don’t believe in an absolute truth system or even in God. It all just gets really confusing, but I’m going to give you a whole new view of things by showing you a little bit of a reason why I believe that the bible is 100% true, and that God exists, and that He wants a personal relationship with us. Key Points Discussed: Having no concept of right or wrong other than what we feel (04:44) Determining what is right or wrong (06:16) Our actions affect others (09:50) Decisions have to be based off of something (12:46) There is no good or bad unless they are defined by someone or something (16:27) The world is messed up (18:39) Choosing a lifestyle of extreme ownership of yourself (20:09) You can find the transcripts and more at www.thinkdifferenttheory.com/64 -- Be sure to follow me on Instagram @joshforti Subscribe to the podcast on Apple, Spotify, Google, Stitcher, or anywhere else you listen to your podcasts. What this episode covers
In this episode, I break down how, in order for there to be "Good" and "Bad", there must be a moral law. If there is a moral law, there must be a moral lawgiver. If there is not a singular moral lawgiver, then truth becomes relative. I show the major problems that come into play if that is the case.
