Mathias Fuchs ist ein Spielekünstler, Musiker und Medienwissenschaftler. Er leistete Pionierarbeit bei der künstlerischen Nutzung von Computerspielen und stellte seine Arbeiten auf der ISEA, SIGGRAPH, transmediale und im Greenwich Millennium Dome aus. Seit 2012 ist er Professor an der Leuphana Universität in Lüneburg und arbeitet derzeit am Institut für Kultur und Ästhetik der Medien und am IFK/Wien.
