64. Medication Induced Akathisia: Chris Paige, LCSW

Akathisia is a common side effect of psychiatric medications characterized by severe restlessness, where the person feels that they are unable to sit still. People who suffer from akathisia tend to walk around a lot, are unable to sleep, and they describe the sensation as having crawling skin. Chris Paige has personal experience with akathisia.
