Derek Minor has been in the "rap game" for a long time and over the years has made numerous albums, started a non-profit, produced albums for other artists and established himself as one of the main hosts on the Relevant Podcast  (one of the most downloaded Christian podcasts out there).  In recent years, Derek went through a bout of depression and took a journey of soul- searching that compelled him to seek (and find) true contentment and deep happiness.  To do this, he had to face his own demons, including "daddy wounds" and hurt caused by the church.  Most importantly, he had to look in the mirror with honesty.   A culmination of his journey is captured in his recent album, "Nobody's Perfect."  The album, full of grit, honesty, compassion and hope is the reference point of this conversation Derek had with host, Joey Svendsen.  You'll hear his story through his words on this interview and through the songs on his album, which are intertwined throughout the episode.  Get ready for a dose of hope, a story of perseverance and a testimony of restoration from the Most High.  And hip-hop fans, get ready to bob that head.
