Hello and thank you very much for tuning into TurboSixty4, episode 64. We celebrate in this monumentous milestone with the full TurboSixty4 star. Wumpy Boys. Yeeeet waff!

So, in this episode we'll touch on some VS Battle Wolf stars, reviews, breakdowns, leave some out of N64 talk, and we're gonna have a nice little trip down memory lane. We're gonna look back and reflect on past episodes, just, you know, just have a little waltz down there. It's always nice for those, it's kintigast going on in the middle days. Yeah.

That and much more on Turbo64. That's what you should call the game ones, the Turbo64. Yeah, I might do that. I'm not that happy I'm with you.

Here we go, Turbo64, full team today. So, everyone's doing well. I was kind of there. You thought it out every day, yeah?

It was still frosty. Oh, we thought out. There's still snow about if you look for it, but everywhere's nice and dry. We're actually having a bit of fucking rain today, but it's nice and dry, mate.

I bet you it's not as glum as it is here. It's sad. It is miserable. Like, English weather, you know, for, you know, listeners from all over the globe.

Today is England. It is the great, it's just grey. If it was a paint colour, it would be known as perfect grey, wouldn't it today? It's not a good look out there.

And it's the drizzle, the classic English drizzle. Don't get no else apart from England, man. It's the only place you'll get drizzle like it. Sad, sad drizzle.

Any other countries get drizzle? No. And the drizzle? Not maybe on the coast, on the west coast, because apparently it's some of the parts of BC have a bit rainy weather like England.

It's a bit more humid right on the west, so definitely not here. It's dry as fuck most of the time. Right, take that. Yeah, out here, sometimes when it's snowing, if it's blowing a lot, it'll blow the snow off the concrete and the road.

It'll be dry underneath. It's kind of like that. It's really weird. You don't get due.

You don't get due out here, if you know what I mean. And you get due every day in England. You wake up, there's always due there. Yeah, you can wake up.

No rain, but everywhere's fucking wet. Let's go down a bit of memory lane. I was actually listening to episode number one today. No, no, it's me too.

Because I thought it'd give me the worst vibes of anxiety going. I really thought, let's just leave that alone. Let's just don't go there. Leave it because you're going to sound awful.

You don't sound great anyway, but you're going to sound worse than you think you do. You're only 15 when it started, don't make it so. You're so fat. Young man.

Yeah, John, it was eight. Yeah. But it's actually not a bad episode, John. I don't know if you can remember that if you've listened to it very recently.

We had proper interviews with pro skaters, like top tier pro skaters. Yeah. And it was actually, we kind of broke it down. We had a little bit of talking shit, then an interview and talking.

It's actually one of our most professional episodes going, you know, nice theme to everything like that. And so I was actually quite surprised at how we sounded. It was quite nice going down that memory lane. It wasn't great, but it was better than I thought it was going to be.

I just remember those squeaky chairs you had in your kitchen. We had to sit at that breakfast bar thing and just we couldn't move as we recorded. It was just squeaky. Yeah.

I mean, they were nice. They looked nice. They were like, I don't know what the echo sort of styles make, but yeah, you couldn't move on them. Yeah, with the slab of cores to hands.

Well, yeah, exactly. Me and Matt obviously celebrate in Table 64. We've already christened the episode off with a core. We can of course.

Of course, we want to sponsor it. So if you listen to Mr. Cores, just, you know, I'm only really asking for, if you'll get the sponsorship deal, don't be too greedy, but how many cans of cores would you want a week? Well, I mean, for each episode, I mean, I won't be greedy.

Four-point seats off it. You take them and then if you're not enough of that, we'd be put around in our pocket. But really, four-point seats each week. That's not what I wanted to ask is it, Mr.

Cores. Deliver by what's his name? Van Dam. Yeah, I did buy Van Dam obviously.

I always forget it. Deal with the tape. Any little memories for you boys? Any kind of special or special episodes you remember?

Can I please button? Because I've got some notes here. And for the episode number one, I was looking and it says 2017, but you're all talking in there. You're talking about 2016, and so there's a good bit of time going back there.

But I would love for you and John O'Whatever to talk about. Episode two a little bit and episode five. And the episode two was the Holy Snokes interview, which I had listened to the other day. I listened to it a lot, you know, pretty much the first time I really started talking to you around.

You told me about it when I went and listened to number one and a few of the others. But actually some interview pretty much straight away with Ben Ramers in episode two. That's really fucking cool. Yeah, that is heavy.

Matt, if you don't know, Ben Ramers was an English pro skater, sadly, a couple of years ago now boys. Yeah, probably two. Really, really nice of all. Young lad, really, really nice old boy.

And yeah, like the first time I met him, interviewed him, Sam, this fuck, getting around him. He was obviously the pro, so he could sort you out. He was at the event at the cinema. He was kind of putting me into the pro places and we went off lunch together and all this sort of stuff.

And yeah, you know, in terms of what sometimes when you meet the pros, some of them got a little kind of, most of them are pretty sound, most of them are pretty sound, but Ben was kind of pretty special in the fact that he didn't even hold himself like a pro skater. He was just there knocking about like he just woke up next door to the Vulcan headquarters in London. Or all the flat above it. So he just kind of literally just woke up and turned up and it was just easy to talk to.

I mean, I haven't actually listened to that episode in a while. What was Ben? Was he in a cherry mood ride? Oh yeah, just at the time, just seeing like, you know, the casual Ben Reimers.

But yeah, just for what a fucking special moment for first of all you and Turbo, do you know what I mean? That's really cool for anyone who is a Ben Reimers fan and wants to go back and appreciate anything of Ben Reimers. That's a fucking episode to go and chat guys. So fucking big up, that's awesome.

Yeah, nice one. I mean, I've never actually really kind of, you know, thought about that. It's actually, you know, we kind of documented a bit of his history in a little bit of his personality in our shitty little show. You know what I mean?

Like, you know, we talk a lot of shit on here, but it's, yeah, you know, the early days we probably had a bit more legit content and obviously, you know, a lot of pros on there. But, no, it's nice to say that. I mean, it was, you know, I'll probably go back and listen to it. But it's one of those things that sometimes you don't want to listen to yourself, you know, hear the sound you're in, but especially when you're asking pros questions and the same questions and you probably sound like an absolute, you know, you sound like you shouldn't be there.

I mean, you sound like you're kind of, you're an imposter in their world. But my memories of that were just that he was just, he was just, he was sound as fuck, you know, really, really kind of giving. He was just, he went a big time Charlie. He was just a normal boy.

He wanted to be here and just obviously an awesome skater. Yeah, that's great. And taking it on to another note, obviously, during, between all this time, the nine club really come out on YouTube and other social medias. I like made a really fucking massive hit.

And probably a lot of people probably just thought, well, you know, Ryan and John, oh, just jumped off of that idea. But a lot of people weren't know that you guys were doing interviews before then. So you were lucky enough to meet the old Mr. Bagley and a few other boys from what you told me back in the day.

And you managed to hook up a little interview of the Bagley Man himself in episode five, Roger Bagley, part of the nine club experience. If you guys haven't watched that. But that's pretty cool as well. How did you find that, John?

Obviously, I'll fill everyone in with kind of the backstory. I mean, we might have all these open about it, but I'll fill everyone in a bit. But John, when I told you, you know, we got Bagley in the bag, what did you think? I couldn't believe it, really.

I think I was proper nervous when we had like FaceTime demo, whatever we did. Because I didn't want to speak over him. I wanted to ask the right questions. And then he was just, when we called him, he was just there with Estella and then he had a pizza delivered halfway through.

And he was just eating pizza and drinking Estella. Oh, okay. This is cool. Yeah, I mean, he's just a good old boy.

I think one of his parents, he's from the East Coast, one of his parents, not over the meringue. So he's got, he gets a score with us. He kind of knows our rhythm of speech and that sort of shit. He gets obviously drinks Estella as well.

He knows a score. But yeah, so met him in a Hawaiian bar on the Venice Beach and Kelly Hart walks in first. And I'm like, well, I can tell you how to go mate. And then he said, well, good blah blah blah.

And then he said, well, just come in a minute. So if you want to come and have a beer, just come around and have a beer with us. So then my wife actually comes back. I think she's having a piss or something like that.

Just in the corner. And she comes over and I'm like a little kind of excited schoolgirl. I've just seen Kelly Hart. He's holding it in the body of a bag.

And he's invited me as well. I mean, I'm giddy as fuck. Already probably had, you know, good six in me. You know, good six Hawaiian strong, six point five percent beer in me.

So I was loose. I wasn't, you know, good, good say. That's the level you want to be at though, right? Yeah, that's almost me like super saying that.

I mean, I'm just kind of just getting just getting loosened up and happy to talk to anyone. I mean, that night ended. I'd say ended good. We were kind of out the front seat and drunk.

And I can't let me get home. Actually, and the story goes, why, why gets me in a cab? Like, I'm just like passed out on the pavement and actually gets me in a cab. And the driver's like, is he going to be all right?

You know what I mean? It's like, yeah, it'll be fucking fine. And then we're in the back of the cab and I'm like doing the classic like, almost being sick in your own lungs. I'm not being sick.

You know something's happening inside that person. It is right. Well, I went there and I was unconscious pretty much. And apparently, as a story goes, we get back to our hotel and there's some Germans walking down the corridor, leaving as we're going in.

They don't move enough for me at that point. So I proceed. They're still against the walls, they weren't they? As far as they could go against the walls.

But in your eyes, that's not enough. Yeah, they didn't show me enough respect. Because obviously I was going to my room. So it's important I went to my room.

And I think I started them or something like that. So, you know, good night all around. Classic. Classic RKD.

I'm going to be not all weird. Should they be fair? No, no, no, I was going to come back. Yeah, it seems to be like, well, I now is a good time to leave.

Yeah, anyway, that night was awesome. Spoke to Bagley. Spoke to him, you know, speaking to him, falling off for a while now and just put it out there. And he was down.

He was down to do it. Because again, if you, I think people get it from listening and watching to the nightclub, that he is someone he doesn't care. He's just, he's loose. He's easy going.

Doesn't need to be on camera. It's not like important to him that he's, you know, it's Roger Bagley's nightclub. He doesn't care about that. And you kind of get that.

And you, yeah, by listening to what episode was that? You say, will five or something? Yeah, it was episode number five. Sorry, right?

I just want to cut in there for maybe even Matt and a couple of people. Who might be listening who might not really be aware who the nightclub is. One of the probably one of the biggest video skateboard in podcasts and general podcasts of skateboard and out. Roger Bagley, one of the, you know, huge, huge skate filmer back in the day, even a great, great skater.

And probably the Wikipedia of skateboard and himself, like not many people are that much documented. So Ryan to just bump into these old boys and have a fucking wild night was probably pretty fucking unreal. At the time. It was special.

It goes down in history for me. It's one of about campus of good nights. Probably, you know, all of us, you know, all of us. We've had some good old, good old knees up.

But that night with Bagley, obviously getting back. If I didn't get back, you know, maybe the story would have been better. But the fact I got back home to the hotel was a nice finish. A nice happy ending.

I think I deserve, but normally in those situations, I'd end up, you know, just sleep under a bridge or something. So it was kind of good to... That's how you read the back. It's not me and you.

It's not me and you. It's not me and you. It's not me and you. It's not me and you.

You can see it now, mate. Use it on your own. Yeah, I still be your business teacher and I. You know, I'd actually turn into one of those people, yeah.

Yeah. Selling my kind of toenails or something like that. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Well, yeah. I think I'd, all right, I could break that.

If you gave me enough hair, I think I could braid it. You know what I mean? Short hair. I'd still make out.

I could do it. To get that $20. Yeah. I was doing a sit down on my little part of sand that I put down for someone.

I'd like it. That's my business model, you see. Yeah. Cut this strand and just glue it together.

Put a bead on it. That's $20 in fine. Yeah. I've just run as soon as I talk about it.

Yeah. Yeah. The mirror is over. Yeah.

Do you want any highlights for you, mate, that you can kind of think of? Obviously, you know, that was a big one. You've been a skate film yourself, loving the bagley. As do we all any highlights you're fond of?

Yeah. I mean, the Roger Bagley one was a big one. But then some of the others, like there's been a good few that we've been quite proud of. So like the, what was it?

The Cori Duffle homeboy. That was a good one. And even after the fact, I think we had a bit of a chat with Cori Duffle over Instagram, I think it was. That was fun.

And it's crazy to see how the niger video one keeps doing. It keeps getting plays. Yeah. I was actually looking at that.

That's our number one listen to show. And it's kind of like, I just don't know how my niger is. It's weird how that one kind of has transcended further than all the other ones. It's a bit, yeah, I don't quite understand.

Obviously, it was a big part of the time. You know, really impressive. Was it just first night part or was it maybe a second night part or something like that? But it was funny how that one blew up and it still, still getting listened today.

There's a couple of little things I want to talk to you about. I think I sent them to you boys earlier. It's that we can skateboards have done like a wolf wolf street camp. Yeah.

Yeah. What did your voice think of it? Because I really, really enjoyed it. It was, it was well done.

You know, if you get a reference point, then it works really well. What did you voice think? Yeah, I thought that was brilliant. It was spot on and like the shot for shot sort of remake of it.

And everyone looked the part, the guy playing like the Caprio was, he looked, he looked like him. I really enjoyed it. Yeah, it's just, it's kind of like a, I was saying to your boys earlier that it's like, I'm starting to really kind of get what weekend is. I mean, for a while, we've always covered that shit.

You know, we've always liked them. But I think I said there are less try-hard version of FA. It's like they don't really care. You know, they're kind of just, you know, they can have comedy in skateboard.

They're not going to be so serious, but it's still brilliant skateboarders. And it's kind of refreshing to see that, you know, not everyone's opposed to these days because a lot of people are. Yeah. And it's just a quite kind of lighthearted approach with a lot of their videos, but the skating backs it up as well.

Yeah, have you seen the watches video part as well? Lovely part. I was watching it on the bus home today. And it's just the way he can just place the board wherever he wants.

I think that was the best way I could think of it. He wants to do a little blunt tail thing. Yeah, there you go. Want to ping a little kick flip?

Yeah, there you go. Want to do a switch free 60 into a little bit. And then actually into a little drain and then ride it out. Yeah, there you go.

It's all good. Yeah, I mean, I will question a little bit of his wardrobe, but then again, he does, he does, in the credits of it, he actually does put himself under wardrobe. So he kind of acknowledges it. You know, he does acknowledge it.

But yeah, all round, just a nice, just a nice little video that isn't, you know, again, not to try out interesting spots. And can just laugh at yourself a little bit. It's not too, it's not too serious. What do you think, Will?

Yeah, exactly that. We all like a bit of, a bit of fun with the skate videos as well. So it just makes it a bit more, a bit more easy to watch as well sometimes and just, just shows that they're not so serious and they don't really care. You know, in a good way.

Do you know what I mean? They're just, they're just having a good time and yeah, they can fucking skate good too. So back to all that. Is there any videos that your boys have seen recently, you can give us a little, just a little recap of it.

I saw bits of that Manny Santiago part. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Come on in and join. You did kind of message me about that the other day.

Manny Santiago, great skate or anything, but that pink hair, when he had that for a while, I don't know if he still got it, but it was a bit off putting. Because you've got someone who could do flips into handrails, but when you look like that, I'm not going to give you all the credit, but maybe you'll do. Yeah. I mean, so he does a lot of tricks into handrails, but I think the first five clips are on the same handrail.

So, all right, mate, we get it. Just do it to a different spot. I mean, he's doing like front shove crook on a handrail and like heel flip back, smith and stuff. It's like decent, but it's like move it along and it's just the amount of backside tricks he does is insane.

And he'll only do, I think he only did a few frontside and it would be like a five-oh or a tail. Whereas when he's doing them backside, it's like your very heel smith, your very heel like feeble. It's like, okay, we know what way you prefer. But it was all right.

Yeah, tell me, right, if you're going to give it a five. Two. It's like you had that in front of you. He's not going to hesitate to hold out just two.

It's ready. No, it's not going to hesitate. Yeah. Matt, you know, not being a skater.

You've never had a man who's anti-arguing mate. And now you're all stuck. I'm cutting him out. He's getting a two.

That quickly, just straighten it to. I'm watching that. Down now. Just for that fact.

This guy's calling it, he got a two mate. He got a two. He got a two, yeah. No question.

We're not selling his tickets very well here, are we? Go and check it out, I suppose. It's worth a watch. It is very technical, but he overdoes it.

So it should have been a free, but because he overdoes it, it's a two. He overdosed himself. How many clips does he have of his pink hair? Oh, like the whole five when apart.

It's bleached, properly bleached. Any videos you've been watching recently or anything, have you seen that have impressed you? I don't think that any videos really I can mention too much that I'm really hyped on, but on Instagram, I posted that. That's Jamie Griffin.

Did you guys see that switch from 60 foot? That was ridiculous. Stomped to the living fuck out of it. Absolutely insane.

Chris Cole special maneuver. Something that I'll never be able to do. The thing is to shame with him. Obviously, we've said before in turbo, he gets the barracks highlighting him.

I don't think he really gets highlighted in thrasher too much, but he gets a decent amount of kind of viewage. He gets it for his gimmicky kind of over-rotations, double flips, triple flips inside outside Hopi-Koki sort of shit. But it's like, he can do tricks like that that you showed us the other day will and stomp it, but maybe do more of that because you're going to get well known as a legit pro and people are going to take more seriously as a pro to stomping tricks like that rather than doing the tray flip inside, which he doesn't really, you're always going to see him as a ginseng player with a legit skater. You don't want to see him as just the front foot impossible or the wizard spins or whatever.

If he's just that guy, that's all he'll be like the wizard spin out of a tail slide. But he keeps doing stuff like this. He's going to be like, oh, a flat ground king or something like that. And where he can put this in the street, hopefully keeps getting wider and wider with it and takes it out and about, he'll be able to go far, if not, it'll just keep being what it is.

But yeah, enjoy this one. Yeah, about that switch here from Blunt from Jocelyn. Oh, fucking hell. That's what I love.

That's what I love. Switch. I said that. I didn't know that.

I was playing a switch. Yeah. When you first put it up before I watched it, I thought it was going to be into a rail. So I was like, nice, nice.

But I think it's even nicer looking at it on our ledge because there is that little bit more danger in my eyes because you can slip out of the wheels instead of just putting it into that almost blunt over tail. So that was fucking sick. And it was a proper blunt where he's on top of it. You know what I mean?

It's kind of like, if I'm ever going to blunt something, I'm going to be lower down, hook it over that. I'm on top of something. I'm going to hook that leverage point. I have to have that there.

I can't just sit everything on top of the ledge and just go where is that? Real nice blunt. Let's move over. Let's do a little bit of N64 check.

Turbo 64. We've got to celebrate, haven't we? Obviously you can hear it at hand or where you might have something else in your hand. I mean, just to celebrate.

Canadian cigarettes. Yeah. Was it Japanese maple? Is it Japanese maple?

You know, you're a educated man of the... The Japanese maple. That's what it is. Japanese maple has got the same leaf.

Yeah, pretty much. That's it. That's it. That's how Huff got away with the weed sucks, wasn't it?

They just go in the Japanese maple leaf. Japanese maple leaf. Can you give us any more insight on the Japanese maple? Anything special about the wood of a Japanese maple that the listeners might want to know?

Realistically, they don't really get too big. They're really more of like, they're really gross big. They're more of a decorative tree or a tree that's just a cut you off. If you had just said nine, I'd clear about them.

That would be an interesting answer. The fact that you actually could tell me that they don't like, because I wouldn't know them at all. I just know they've got that leaf. Yeah, carrots.

Don't get that leaf. I'm interested now. Yeah, yeah. The more of a smaller tree, obviously, native to Japan.

The Latin for it is a saucer japonica, which is obviously a Japanese maple. It's an educated man. It's an educated man. It's an educated man.

It's an educated man. It's an educated man. It's an educated man. It's an educated man.

We've got him. We need to get you a segment. We need to think of a catchy name. We'll think about it some other time.

It ain't going to come to us now, is it? It just ain't going to happen. It's what you might say, but we're still here. Yeah, it's what you might say.

Yeah, it's the record, but you don't deserve it. It's incredible. Yeah, Alan Tichmarch on with Whittle. What have you done?

Yeah, yeah. They can just talk about, you know, Ben's rain shit. I've listened to that. I enjoy that.

I'm going to be a better show. I've been done Alan Tichmarch in Buckville. That is a show you want to listen to. Talking about trees.

I've got to be a super listening team. Yeah, it's nice. It's got to be Buckville's show. It's just Buckville's something.

Yeah, it's like Buckville's a... Trees and shit. Trees and shit. That's perfect.

Yeah, we'll talk about that out soon. I'll just put the feelers out if I can just hold a Valentichmarch. No, he's not a problem. He's a pro when he's been there and done it.

We could get Charlie Demick in a second, but... We don't want to. We don't want to. You can keep your hands in those.

He's a flatter. He's not a leader. He's only really worked on TV as well. Yeah.

It's like an old man's heart racing on the radio. It works. It doesn't work. Maybe it might do.

It might help. They might... Yeah, they'll remember her rather than see her now. Anyway, let's talk about some men 64 shit.

Your boys, obviously, John, are you being the youngest? Did you know... Was that good? No, seriously, did you have a six-point household?

Did you have a six-point household? Did you have a friend who had it? I did have a friend in primary school that had one, but I only played it a couple of times. I was a playstation household.

And so were a lot of my other mates. So the 64, I didn't play a huge amount in all honesty. Until we met me and then I forced you to play. Yeah.

I did have a Mario 64 on the DS though. Got to move his face with the pen. That was good. Oh!

Alright. Yeah. I was actually playing at the other day and moving his face around it. If they were not going to move his face more this time, then what I could do back up like...

You're scared to do it too much. When he first came, I thought, I don't want to stretch his face too much because then he's going to have to stretch his face a lot. Yeah. But you're a bit more careful when you're going to go care.

No, I was properly moving. I was seriously not moving. It was chin one direction. He's dead the other.

And I don't think I did that back. I think I just moved his ears. I was a bit more particular about just doing his tash evenly and then maybe an ear and evenly. I don't think I messed him about too much.

Maybe flopped his nose a little bit. Yeah. He never had a big nose. Yeah.

Just give him a Pinocchio. That's about safe. But I don't think... Yeah.

So with the pen, Donnie, you could... Was there a way of holding it in place though? No, I think it like snapped back. Every time.

Every time. Once I've done it, it's got to stay there. Until we want to release and then it boings back into place. I mean, I enjoyed that boing.

Yeah, it was good. But yeah, you'll be on that screen for probably five minutes before we actually went into the game. Yeah. Easy.

Go back to that screen just because it's a bit in the game. Where about you mate? N64, do you play a lot of it? Or will you more play station?

What was the distance when N64 came out and then the play station won? Was it a couple of years? Was it a couple of years? Very similar.

No, very similar era. Round 1996. Yeah. There's a Christmas present or something.

So we got the 64 because we could get it a little bit quicker. That was from what I can remember. And I can remember one day, I think we got it from the post office or something. They're quite expensive back in the day, so we had to share it and it was the fucking James Bond one.

Ahhh! I can't remember doing that. So if I can snoke to the kid to get that and it was like, I can remember getting a Gen Rosh playing the Gen Bond games. It was pretty surreal at the time.

Like, you know, if you had the tank mission and drove over people, they like crunched and made noises and stuff. So I can remember getting like a Gen Rosh playing it and fucking loving it. So the 64 is fucking great for me. The best console I've enjoyed.

No, it's a quality game. Yeah, the James Bond, that kept friendships going, but for long I needed to be like, if you didn't even want to add the James Bond gold knight, you're like, oh yeah, we've always been making it, but you all come on and play that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, Matt, I think you've got the 64 with Mario.

I got the 64 with Mario. You're a class, obviously. You had the class, but I, same as Will, got the 64 with Gold Knight. Yes.

And I tell you, you know, I don't really care for James Bond. I like Sean Connery, but I don't really care for anyone else in there. You know, maybe Roger Moore when he's over the cliff with his Union Jack, but that's about it. I don't really care about that.

Gold Knight, gold knight is his own thing. It's so good. That first level you're going on the dammit. Yeah, you finish with the bungee jump.

You just dive off it. It's one of those games that's so, we were talking about how Roadrunner, well, we're all bringing Roadrunner up in the use of people. How it wasn't intuitive at all. There was nothing intuitive about the game.

Whereas Gold Knight seemed like you knew what you were doing without even reading anything. It was so good for you. Obviously with the trigger, 64 using the trigger, you know what I mean? Straight away, using that back trigger, Zed.

That was a game changer, wasn't it? To shoot with that. Oh yeah, yeah, back, yeah. You know what I mean?

You said that was a massive kind of game changer. You don't see that before. And, you know, people slag off to 64 controller, and I might be one of them. It's certain respects, it was brilliant.

Like it was a very good controller in certain circumstances. I mean, obviously a place that's controlled. They're a bit of a curve, they weren't it, it was too. They brought out to you, they just went straight from your SNES to that blue people's mind.

It was futuristic as fuck. So, well, on Gold Knight, when you played multi-player or whatever, did you pick odd job or did you go for Jaws? Did you stick the bond? Did you like to hide in the toilets?

What was your thing? Or I liked to be a mixture of Jaws in Odd Job, because if he was Odd Job, he was a bit hot. You know, you had to point down to hit. But I was definitely a Golden Gun man.

I always loved to play the Golden Gun games only and shit like that. And I'd always hide in those air vents. You know the ones that you could cut through. Yeah, so I'd be all over that.

Yeah, the Golden Gun games are so good. Obviously, you know, ball-pat, you couldn't do it, you had me ball-patting at Golden Gun. And someone gets a Golden Gun and then you're like, oh, you get a Golden Gun. You're even nervous when you pick up the Golden Gun.

You've got to be getting someone. But you're even more nervous. So I was Odd Job and I did the thing where I would duck him down. So you'd press down and R up, you would make him smaller.

Nice thing that helped me, right? And I do like the... is it called Striping or...? Yes, yes, yes.

Striping where you'd go sideways. That'd be my movement. So I'd go forwards. I always scrape everywhere.

Just slide him around with his little Odd Job. But the problem is, obviously with Golden Gun you get shot and you die anyway. Don't that way hit you. But I do that anytime.

But if I did that with Odd Job, everyone would get a head shot on me. Regardless, because I put him to the perfect level for you two. I still knew that and still did it. Because I just needed the spray film load.

I just had to, that was his gimmick. That was my gimmick. Yeah, straight blow. Yeah, straight blow.

Yeah, that was it. Do you want to know any play a bit of Golden Night mate? I've not played Golden Night. Oh, for fun.

Yeah. Well, you're going to have to go back to Canada and dig out your whole 64 from your parents' loft. And so I'm hanging out with each other. Yeah, they've got it.

I think my sister used to play it like probably like 10 years ago or something. So they still knocked about it, still works. I've been getting to get a bunch of the older consoles at the moment. I've got no interest in the PS5.

I want to go back, get the PS1, get the 64 and just play those things. I'm over it. I just want to go back down. Anybody who has a pro skater?

Yeah, let me break this down to you then. So, turn out to pro skater 3 was on the N64, right? Like it was the PS1 version of it. Because there was a PS2 version of Tony Hawk 3, which was actually by the time the graphics were pretty slick.

But the 64 version, I was playing the other day, it was pretty fucking shit. It was really bad. I was quite devastated the fact that I had all the graphics were. But I've got a 64 emulator on my, you know, I don't need it, but for games.

I've got a 64, but a 64 emulator on my MacBook. But to get a PlayStation emulator on your MacBook is a little bit trickier. It's just trickier. I do have a PlayStation, a PlayStation 2 still, but you've got a dig amount in there.

And it's just 4. I dig out a 64, that's different. I've dig out a 64, but dig out a PlayStation, find a disc, scratch the fuck. It's not a...

Hey, it's kind of finding it. And also, I will say with the 64, shoot it down occasionally. The good thing about the cartridge, loading times. Now, on the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and even PlayStation 3, probably all of them.

Loading times are taking the piss, isn't it? Can't have a load of time. Now, on the PS5, I haven't played the PS5, Jon. Is there loading times on that shit or is it going straight in?

I think they tried to say that there is no loading times, but there still is. And with all the day one updates and everything that you've got to do as well. There were no day one updates for the 64 ones. There's no ever any updates, no 64 updates.

I think we ever saw it on the game this time of the world. I think it was Japanese only probably six games. It was the Mega Drive that had the stacks on stacks of bullshit. I think I had Sonic CD on the Mega CD.

And playing that game, you could just feel disappointed for him. What's that? It's just what you think? Why?

What was the need really? Yeah, but it's got a little anime starting. Yeah. And you can go sideways on this level.

Yeah. That was worth it, weren't it? How was it? It was a little bit of a game.

It was a little bit of a game. It was a little bit of a game. It was a little bit of a game. I was a little bit out of it.

I want to pay for that for the 50 quid, but that hurt for me. I'll take it. won't I? Anyway boys, Sager, will you have to say go in your household, were you strictly in Nintendo?

Never had Sager in my household, but whenever I was playing. We play it, but otherwise. No, I never had a neighbor who used to babysit occasionally and they would have to say that's when you play Sonic or whatever, but never had to make a drive in my house. Nintendo threw in through.

You know, an intelligent man always jumps the playsation, he has to do, but the 64 was a very, you know, That GameCube era, obviously you knew what you picked the right side of them, were moving with PlayStation. They get too excited they don't have Nintendo. They just think, let's do this now, or let's do that now. And they'll have some good games on each system, but they're not banger off the banger.

They just have one good, then have like one solid game. And you just think it's not worth it just for that trouble in Nintendo. Yeah. Let's have a little versus battle right now of controllers of all time.

Can't have the PlayStation controller. Can't have the PlayStation controller. Can't have the PlayStation controller. It's so pleasing.

No, you can't have it. The other thing about it is pleasing. But if you can only have one controller, to get you through your days, what controller you have and why. And it can be anything, but you just can't have from PlayStation.

No, you can't have any PlayStation controllers. You might have PlayStation one without the analog. But it still was a nice thing to hold. So, yeah, you can't have that.

What you're saying? Did you ever use the original Xbox controller? I think it gets called the Duke. It was fucking massive.

And it has a memory card slot in the back of the controller. Yes. Do you ever play that you use a Dreamcast controller? No.
