Mr. Gray’s Class Podcast IUSD Face Coverings Guide Read These Books! (make a goodreads.com account with your child to help find books) Reader’s Workshop They will continue to read nonfiction books and we will take the week to figure out main ideas. The kids will be getting nonfiction books from the library to support their reading for the week. At home, they will continue reading fiction books they choose appropriately. As a reminder, students will get a grade in reading for filling out their reading log regularly. Writer’s Workshop We will continue a unit on writing information books. The kids will start on a new chapter book that teaches. Math Math Answers and Help Here The next few weeks will be dedicated to in Introduction of Ratios. Here is a quick rundown of what we will be studying. Next week we will finish our unit, complete a review packet and take an end of unit test on Thursday. History The kids will continue our study of Ancient Egypt. The kids will build background knowledge and study vocabulary. They will study how Ancient Egyptian society was organized. They will grade themselves on how well they have completed their work so far. Science The kids will work with Mr. Nelson in science lab. We will use our science workbook to start a unit on human body systems. Optional Science Fair Information. Thank you, Mr. Gray
