畫說漢字/圖解《說文解字》/1000個漢字的故事/東漢許慎原著蚕（cán）“蚕”是个象形兼形声字，本义是能吐丝结茧的蚕。甲骨文的“蚕”字，就像是一只向上爬的蚕形，上方是蚕的头部，下面弯曲的是蚕的尾巴。小篆的“蚕”，字形发生了讹变，成为形声字，上半部是声旁，下半部的“虫”字是形旁。古代用蚕吐出的丝来制作丝绸衣物，所以说蚕丝在古时是重要的资源。蚕也因此成了奉献精神的化身。（一条胖胖的蚕虫，吐出的丝会被做成绸缎。）
