Dr Juan Batlle is the founder of Centro Láser in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and the founder of the Elías Santana Hospital, a project that allows people in vulnerable conditions, access to much needed ophthalmic medicine, care and vision correction services. He has also participated in many clinical trials for the devices, implants, and technologies that we use in our operating rooms every day. Many companies do their first outside-the-USA clinical trials at his center. He has grown his program to include a large residency and fellowship program and he invites all CataractCoach fans to visit him in the Dominican Republic. We feature a new podcast every week on Sundays and they are uploaded to all major podcast services (click links here: Apple, Google, Spotify) for enjoying as you drive to work or exercise.
