from Causality · host The Engineered Network

In 1983 a newly introduced 767 ran out of fuel mid-flight and the pilots were able to land completely dead-stick. Whilst 0.8kg/L and 1.77lbs/L represent the same density, when the wrong one was used in a refuelling calculation they came up well short. Why they were forced to manually calculate their fuel at all, was not nearly as controversial as the pilots decision to fly. We look at what went wrong and what went right in the incident of the Gimli Glider. With John Chidgey. The Cosmic Codex Arabella Thaïs Welcome to The Cosmic Codex—a transmission from the edge of becoming. Hosted by philosopher and Ph.D. candidate Arabella Thais, this podcast traces the golden threads that weave cosmos, mythos, and psyche into a unified vision of reality. Through visionary dialogues and solo scholarly riffs, Arabella excavates the deeper structures of existence—drawing from philosophy, cosmology, depth psychology, mathematics, poetics, and the occult. This is a philosophy podcast for a new epoch, one that dares to ask how meaning, beauty, and consciousness are encoded into the fabric of the universe. Each episode contributes to a larger arc—unfolding themes such as retro-causality, anarchy, the Eternal Feminine, symbolic mathematics, and the aesthetics of time—as part of an urgent project: to reimagine the real and awaken a cosmology of wholeness. The Cosmic Codex is not merely a podcast. It is a living manuscript. A metaphysical map. A ca The VTM Podcast by Dr. Ralph Clayton Dr. Ralph Clayton The VTM Podcast explores the science of time, reality, and the emerging ideas shaping our technological future. At the center of the series is the Volumetric Time Model — a bold framework that reimagines time not as a ticking sequence of moments, but as a structured dimension we move through.Blending physics, complexity science, artificial intelligence, and futurism, the show examines why the future can feel “decided” without being predetermined — and what that means for free will, causality, prediction, and human agency in an age of intelligent systems. Each episode unpacks big ideas in a clear, accessible way while pushing into deep questions about how reality is structured and how much influence we truly have within it.If you’re fascinated by cutting-edge science, the geometry of time, and the forces quietly shaping tomorrow, this podcast is your guide to the frontier.
