Leah Geoghegan: Restoring Functional Cellular Health and Well-being Leah Geoghegan (HNP AGNP-C ) is a board-certified Adult Primary Care and Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner who helps individuals overcome chronic illness and achieve optimal wellness by naturally balancing the body, restoring function, and alleviating pain. She has recently founded a new enterprise called Emergence.health Leah approaches care by blending Western and Eastern medicine practices based on patient preference, evidence-based data, and her clinical expertise. Her assessment methods are scientifically proven and rooted in asking good questions, active listening, and detailed lab testing. She prioritizes strong relationships with her patients built on trust and mutual respect. Leah has over 6 years of combined experience in nursing, working in the areas of transplant surgery, emergency medicine, primary care and functional medicine. She holds a Nursing and Global Health degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree from New York University’s world-renowned Adult Primary and Holistic Care programs. Her functional medicine training is through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). She is also certified as a medical marijuana prescriber in New York State.
