651: Jeff Gorton Meets Montreal Media; Sens Finally Win; CFL Bends COVID Rules for Argos

from The Steve Warne Project - Ottawa Sports Talk · host Capital Podcast

Jeff Gorton Meets Montreal Media, makes valiant attempt at speaking French. It wasn't pretty but the Ottawa Senators finally win one, defeating the Carolina Hurricanes 3-2 Thursday night. All they needed was for Anton Forsberg to tie a team saves record. They were outshot 49-20. The CFL bends the COVID rules for the Argos, allowing quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson to probably play. He attended a Raptors game which violated the CFL's COVID-19 protocol, which would've normally mean Bethel-Thompson would have to quarantine for four days and provide two negative tests before being able to resume team activities. The Buffalo Bills get all of one year of glory before the Patriots pop back up atop the AFC East. They meet in Buffalo Monday night.
