658. Gun N Hoses raises money for the families of slain first responders. Great night. Great Fights.

from You Just Have To Laugh

Jan Zimmerman and Paul Craig join us the YJHTL podcast to talk about Kansas City Guns N Hoses. This event has grown into one of the largest fundraisers for the Crime Commission's SAFE program. We are proud to share that our family benefits have progressed from $3,000 when we began in 2005 to $40,000 today, thanks in part to events like this and all of our dedicated boxers, volunteers and patrons.      SAFE provides financial assistance to the dependent families of first responders in SAFE's 12-county coverage area who are killed or suffer catastrophic injury in the line of duty. Often, insurance and other benefits can take weeks or even months to pay while the financial responsibilities for the family do not stop. One of the most important aspects of SAFE is the immediate financial assistance provided within 24-48 hours following the tragic loss of their loved one. 2025 GUNS N HOSES Kansas City Municipal Auditorium 301 West 13th Street, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64105  JUNE 7, 2025 5:00 - 6:30 PM - VIP Party 5:30 PM - Doors Open to the public  6:30 PM - Opening Ceremony  7:00 PM - First bout begins      Jan Zimmerman - [email protected] KC-crime.org
