66 - A Consecrated Place

Psalm 26:8  LORD, I love the house where you live, the place where your glory dwells. Have you ever had the chance to go inside a big old cathedral church? I remember sitting in one such church in Europe somewhere when I was young. Even though the building was more of a tourist stop by this time, the massive high ceilings and quietness gave a sense that the room was consecrated.  The room was originally made for a specific purpose — a place to meet with God. In the New Testament, we are taught that we are God’s temple. We are the consecrated place where God lives by His Spirit. You can meet Him right there in your heart.
