I’m Shikha Advani, a doctoral student at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work. I hold master’s degrees in nutrition and social work, and my research focuses on eating disorders, weight stigma, and decolonization. Clinically, I work as an eating disorder therapist supporting individuals with complex trauma and marginalized identities. I aim to bridge clinical and research worlds to promote anti-oppression and decolonial practices in the ED field.
