66: Extra Hours & Part Time Powers

Ths morning we jumped into the show by talking about the extra hours we both pulled this week to make Mother’s Day happen as well as the other events happening at our churches. Andrew’s church had a VBS workday, and Tim and his elders have their first week without a scheduled meeting since early March. Andrew’s church, on the other had has not had an elders meeting since February. We talked about the amount of meetings that were necessary, and elders giving space or taking reigns of decision making. Tim is creating a job description for a part time youth pastor. We discussed the different qualities and limitations that we’d look for or expect in a part time role. Then we closed out the show by asking how much involvement was appropriate for a lead pastor to have in a student ministry.
