#66 ITS FOOTBALL DAY - Joelinton is the new Zidane, Liverpool and Chelsea let it slip and shall we relegate Norwich now?

Welcome to ITS FOOTBALL DAY, a podcast where two lads give their unfiltered opinions on the game of football. Who would have thought Steve Bruce was getting it wrong all along? Oh yeah... EVERYONE! Joelinton is clearly a box-to-box midfielder because he absolutely bossed the middle of the park against Man United on Monday night as Newcastle narrowly missed out on 3 points against the Red Devils. Chelsea and Liverpool both slip up over the Christmas period whilst City continue to soar going on a 10 consecutive PL game win streak putting them 8 points clear at the top. Leicester were once again inconsistent, getting battered by City but then defeating Leicester, but thats Christmas for you.COVID and injuries are rife at the moment with multiple games being postponed meaning everyone on FPL is struggling to field a team and the numbers are low of recent but we do have a new leader of the pack this week!Finally, we say goodbye to 2021 and hello to 2022 kicking off with an exciting round of Super 6 including City v Arsenal and Chelsea v Liverpool.As always, thank you for listening this year.
