66 | The Best Way to Get People to Listen for Working Moms

from THE RESILIENT WORKING MUM, Stress Management, Time Management, Boundaries, Work Life Balance, Mom Guilt, Burnout, Resilience, Productivity · host Charlotte Haggie | Inspired by Brene Brown, Professor Marc Brackett and Dr Alan Watkins

As a working mom with a career you love and a home that you want to give your best to, you carry so much of the mental and emotional load of life at both places. And sometimes all you want is for someone to do what you ask of them. But when you do finally ask someone to help you, nobody listens! ‘Are their ears painted on?’ is something I often wander around muttering to myself! It is so frustrating to feel like you are not being listened to or not being heard, whether this is at work or at home. In this conversation, I offer a few reasons why people might not be listening (explanations, NOT excuses!) and three ways that you can be more sure that you will be listened to and heard so that you can get the help you need and the results you want from those around you.  If you would like to connect with me, follow the links below: Find me on Instagram or Facebook: @charlottecoaches Find me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/charlotte-haggie-5a2451282/ Check out my website: www.charlottehaggie.com If you would like to work with me to help you build your resilience so that you can ride the waves of life with calm, peace and confidence: Join my free Facebook group, a community for overwhelmed working moms who are managing it all.
