Alexander vecht zich omhoog door het MBO. Hij werkt als automonteur en wil zich graag ontwikkelen. Alexander komt uit Curaçao waardoor het Nederlands niet zijn moedertaal is. Hij is dyslectisch, maar heeft geen dyslexieverklaring en moet daardoor bijna elk schriftelijk examen wel drie keer doen. Dit kost hem veel studietijd en stress. Een privéleven heeft hij al jaren niet meer. Toch blijft hij doorvechten uit liefde voor zichzelf, een liefde die hij vooral voelt als hij danst.
