#67 Erika O'Shea // Underage Setback, Talent vs Work Ethic, All Star & more

On Episode 67 I am delighted to be joined by Cork LGFA star and 2021 All Star Erika O'Shea. Erika was first selected to play inter-county football for Cork at minor level after not being selected for U14 & U16 panels. We discuss how this early setback helped shape Erika's future as she transitioned to a role as a defender and improved her fitness & work ethic. Following her minor season she was the only player to be selected to make the jump to the senior panel and later cemented herself in the starting lineup.  Erika is also a talented basketball player, as she experienced underage success Glanmire and since recording this episode she was apart of Glanmire's 2022 National Cup victory over DCU Mercy.
