African Proverb Pete Amara is the founder of Heritage Rags, a streetwear brand laced with African style, design, and vibrancy; and the co-founder of Chosen Joe Coffee Company, a veteran-owned handcrafted, fresh-roasted retail coffee company. Through his leadership and vision, Pete has propelled both companies to another level in their respective market segments. Pete graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in 1998. He also has an MBA from Amberton University in 2010, and a Master of Arts in Procurement and Acquisitions Management from Webster University in 2012.
