Simon is involved in the business side of demography - sourcing data and interpreting it for businesses and governments, which involves lots of data crunching and storytelling. Simon specialises in using compelling data visualisation to illustrate trends we’re seeing in demographic, consumer and social levels of society. Simon studied a Bachelor of Geography in Germany, before completing a Masters of Urban Geography at the University of Melbourne (https://study.unimelb.edu.au/find/courses/graduate/master-of-geography). Simon is now a columnist for The New Daily, and a former columnist for The Australian newspaper. Simon is one of the best people to comment on the future of work for young professionals and where our careers may lead us in the future.
