67: The Work in Action: Must-See Coaching Session

from Try Life On · host Maurice Philogene

On this week’s very special episode of the “Try Life On” Podcast, Maurice has the opportunity to share (with permission) a recording of a one-on-one coaching session with his client Subash… and it may just be the most important episode he has put out to date. Subash had been putting Maurice’s coaching directly into practice; he recently took a 4 day trip to Dubai with the goal of leaving behind his presently unfulfilling work and life dynamic in Kuwait. What he found there were connections that led him to seeing a potentially fulfilling life– one that he would not need to take a vacation from– investing in tourism in Oman alongside a local. It’s a conversation in which so many of the Try Life On core principles are put directly on display, and as the two men dig deeper, we have the chance to watch Subash realize over the course of the session… There is so much waiting for me when I choose to look beyond the Status Quo. It is possible for Subash, and it is possible for you as well. It’s a great example of seeing how your intuition may pull you in one direction, while expectations from the status quo will continue to pull you away. But it just shows all the more that you have to be willing to take the plunge… and Try Life On.
