In this episode, we talk about the energy and experience of International Women's Day, and the theme of 2024 is Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress. It is an important day because women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic, or political. Now do I wish it was celebrated more often and in other ways, the answer is yes. I have a few thoughts to share on this. In this episode, we discuss: 1) The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. IWD has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. It is an opportunity to celebrate women's accomplishments, highlighting the work that still needs to be done and connecting women from all over the world. 2) I feel like corporations are celebrating this and there's more room for female entrepreneurs to celebrate each other.
