Amy Douglas is dance music’s bonafide rock chick. Though she has made her reputation in  house & disco with her incredible voice & stellar songwriting, Amy is here to ROCK you. After stunning features with everyone from Juan MacLean to Treasure fingers, and repetitive collaborative work with The Crooked Man & Tim Wagner, DFA’s bad girl rose to international prominence when her first solo single “Never Saw It Coming” blazed up the dance charts, and across dancefloors, especially in the UK with support from Bill Brewster, Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston.This was followed by her iconic work with Horse Meat Disco & Luke Solomon. Amy wrote “Something More” Roisin Murphy’s smash & also started her own imprint "Ladyballs Records".
