If you want to get used to hearing Japanese, Rakugo is a great way to do so. Rakugo is a traditional Japanese storytelling art. Since rakugo storytellers are professional storytellers, they tell their tales in lively and easy-to-understand Japanese. Their stories are basically period pieces, so some of the words are a bit different from those used in everyday conversation, but it is just fine for listening.
