686- What Do You Know of Your Fellow Man & Are You His Judge? (Free)

“Now the valley cried with anger – Mount your horses, draw your sword” Crrow777 “And they killed the mountain people, so they won their just reward” Together we stand, divided we fall, is a phrase that remains self-evident. And though these words are attributed to a song written in 1786, the idea was put forth in antiquity for all time in the book of Mark, 3:25 – “a divided house cannot stand.” As such, the idea put forward in this maxim has been a favorite strategy for those who exist through control of the many. The entire system of government (govern =“control” + ment =“mind”) in America is built on employing political parties as the main public control mechanism through division. This is why a two-party system has been protected and maintained. The divisive effects of politics have become manic in the modern era, which is ensured and stoked through world-wide media. The division in America is palpable at this point, which demonstrates the effective nature of this ancient maxim when perverted to manufacture division, like a product, but this also indicates the potential power of the idea when it is not perverted, and employed to bring souls together. Our other societal pillar is suffering a nearly exact fate, that being religion, or faith. Like politics, the division exacted is world-wide and fueled by a never-ending media cycle. Of the two public institutions, religion and government, religion encompasses many more lives, and has been the cause of more blood-letting than those who crave control could possibly quantify.
