The Bible, and the God who has revealed himself in its pages, provides the only adequate basis for morality. The accusation of God’s immorality is done away with. When you encounter it, just remember the Christian view of morality is rooted in God’s character, and a discussion of God’s morality naturally leads to a presentation of the good news of the Gospel. That’s really where we want to take the conversation anyway.
