Jules Standen is a producer, engineer, and founder of the audio website gearspace.com. Beginning in 2002 as a forum for engineers, Gearspace has grown into a Mecca for all things audio, from gear forums and classifieds to gear databases and reviews, Q&A sessions with famous producers and engineers, and a worldwide audio community. Jules began his career in music in the early '80s at Matrix Studios in London, working with the likes of The Smiths and Siouxsie and the Banshees. He went on to a successful freelance career as a producer and engineer, before devoting his full attention to the website.
