This week on Fresh Hop Cinema we dive into the mind of Ernest Cline via his 80’s pop-culture eye-gasp “Ready Player One.” Adapted for the screen and directed by Steven Spielberg the film chronicles the quest of Wade “Parzival” Watts to solve the hidden clues left behind by James Halliday; a mysterious and deceased virtual reality developer responsible for the invention of the OASIS. Will Parzival and his band of ragtag avatars find the clues in time to beat the dreaded IOI corporation to the final prize and decide the fate of the digital multiverse???
