Later in the hour, Carrie & Ben share audio of a mother urging her son to avoid working a job to not affect her government assistance and section 8 benefits, telling her son “The government got us”. Carrie & Ben ask who’s fault is this common mindset & if people in general have become too dependent upon government assistance and aid in general opposed to working hard to change their scenario.
