We all have times when life isn’t going well and in those times adapting and listening to the wisdom of others is often key to getting out of those ruts. In 1991 I was hitting a lowly .210 halfway through the season and my agent, who never played a lick of baseball, sat me down and gave me hitting advice. Yeah, right, but then I decided to drop my ego guess what happened? I tried what he suggested and I wound up having one of the best hitting years of my career. I learned a lesson that the most expensive things I owned were a closed mind and a big ego. How about you?
