Today, we are praying for marriages and families as God designed to be strengthened and to honor God. When the family is strong, the Body of Christ is strong. We are a testimony to the loving and powerful hand of the Lord. Notice, I said "strong," not perfect. Perfect families don't exist because they are filled with imperfect people. But God... Joshua 24:15 NLT -"But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord." Ephesians 5:33 NLT -  "So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband." Psalm 127:3-4 NLT - "Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man     are like arrows in a warrior's hands" Proverbs 22:6 NLT -"Direct your children onto the right path,     and when they are older, they will not leave it." Romans 8:1 NLT- "So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus." Exodus 20:12 NLT - ""Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you."
