At least 37 people are dead and hundreds are injured after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines Monday morning. San Francisco city leaders are touting new homeless numbers that show a record low of encampments and RVs on city streets The Putah Fire burning in Yolo County west of Winters is 362 acres and just 20 percent contained. There is elevated fire danger tomorrow and Thursday for portions of Northern California- given the combination of wind, warmer temperatures, low humidity and dry fuels.
