#7: Cutting The Obstacle Chatter

Welcome to the seventh episode of Planning Phase Syndicate.  This episode will contain our Academy 101, Roll Call, and System Malfunctions segments.   Here is the breakdown of what each segment contains.   Academy 101 This segment name is determining training for new pilots that allow us to explain rules or mechanics of the game that will give a highlight or deep dive into game operation. Covered in this week's episode is obstacle placement and ship placement during the setup phase.  Charles will hold a discussion around the strategy of where obstacles go as well as placing ships to give new players some options for how to create the best matchup against their opponents.    Roll Call This segment is to highlight different pilots, cards, or rules that are important to our Academy 101 segment that we feel needs further discussion. Covered this week will be the cards that utilize the obstacles placed to their advantage.  Covered will be Qira, Debris Gambit, Trick Shot, Scum Tie Fighter, and Trade Federation Drones.    System Malfunctions This segment is to highlight different functions that have different interactions that are not as known but are interesting to learn about. Covered this week will be the Teflon Belly Run, Marg Sabl Closure, and Q7 Astromech.    Rebel Hanger Cadets This segment is to help players understand list building mechanics and why pieces are used to build lists that are decent lists to fly either in tournaments or during a local gathering with prize support.
